Protect Our City’s Environment
I’m Yang Hua, and I’m deeply worried about our city’s environmental problems.
One major problem is plastic pollution, which is serious in community parks and along riverbanks. Many people throw away plastic bottles and bags, and some small shops also use too many plastic products. Another problem is air pollution near downtown areas, caused by the large number of cars on the roads every day.
To solve these problems, I think that we should set up more recycling bins in public places and encourage people to use reusable bags. We could also encourage people to choose public transportation or ride bikes to improve air quality. What’s more, I suggest our school organize monthly “environmental protection activities” to let more people join in.
