Show yourself
Dear fellow students,
Welcome to our new school. It’s my great honor to give a speech here on behalf of my group about the challenges we may face in senior high and how to deal with them effectively.
Actually, each of us will meet with a variety of difficulties in our lives and study, such as classmate relationships and study methods. When facing these challenges, we shouldn’t show any fear of them. Instead, it’s better for us to be calm, have confidence and analyze the problems to find out solutions.
Besides, we can always turn to our teachers for municating with them will enable us to have a better understanding of various aspects of life in high school and some effective learning methods. Regarding learning methods, I also have some good ideas to share with you, such as previewing lessons, getting actively involved in class, and reviewing what has been taught after class, which benefited me a lot during middle school.
A sample speech
As for interpersonal relationships, which really have a great influence on our moods and school life, my group suggests that we not only have an open mind, be helpful and show gratitude but also stick to some important principles when facing some peer pressure.
Additionally, it is a good idea for us to register for a school club, where we will meet some true friends with whom we have a lot in common. What’s more, after-school activities can enrich our life.
These are our group’s ideas and suggestions, and I hope they will be beneficial and help us adapt to high school life soon. Thanks for your attention. Good luck to all of us!
