Visitors to Italy often have cheek (脸颊) kissing anxiety (焦虑). When to kiss, how many kisses, the left cheek, the right cheek, or 11 cheeks Have you ever greeted an Italian by going for a cheek kiss, 12 they only give you a handshake and a happy “Buongiorno” or “Piacere” Different cultures often have different kissing rules, but the bottom line to the kissing trouble is this: When in doubt, don’t do it!
Some things to 13 before offering a cheek kiss include how well you know the person. Most Italians are warm. They especially 14 kisses from close friends and family, but a handshake is the 15 of greeting other people.
Don’t kiss someone you have 16 met before. Don’t be a consistent (始终如一的) kisser. If you greet someone with a kiss, don’t 17 to say, “Arrivederci (Goodbye).” It is polite. Offering your hand for a handshake after a hello kiss sends a bad 18 .
If you have a close cheek-to-cheek relationship, then start on the right and graze (轻擦) the cheek of the other person with your own, and make the “Moi, Moi” or any other 19 into the other person’s ear. If the person is a friend, or a friend of a friend’s, do you stay with the 25 of Italy or fall back on the etiquette (礼仪) of the homeland It’s probably the safest way to stay with the handshake until your relationship rises to the level of closeness that calls for kisses.

①We can see circles, squares and triangles everywhere in our daily life. Have you thought about their meanings in films Much like colors, different shapes can show different features of characters in the scenes.
②Circles represent (代表) things that are soft and natural. The round shape reminds us of things that appear in nature, like the sun, raindrops and so on. We can also connect circles with beautiful eyes, babies’ round faces. . . All these things make us feel happy and warm. This is why so many cartoon characters’ bodies—heroes, good people—are round in shape, because circles represent goodness, happiness and friendliness.
③Squares show things that are unnatural or man-made, or things that are boring or old-fashioned. In Up, Carl has a square face and wears square glasses, while Russell, an 8-year-old boy with a round face, always wears round medals. These shapes show the characters’ personalities. Carl is stubborn (执拗的) and lonely, while Russell is lovely and full of energy.
④The angriest shape is the triangle. Every kid who draws a monster with sharp teeth draws a row of triangles, don’t they That’s because the shape represents fear, distrust and doubt in some way. Look at the bad guys in cartoons—they are all drawn with plenty of points and triangles (稳固的), like Shengongbao in Ne Zha. And triangles are stable (稳固的) and don’t easily fall down. In films, this feature makes bad people difficult to deal with.

Having a hobby is a great way for you to feel happy and meet new people. In fact, there are lots of hobbies that are good for you.
Hobbies are simply anything you do that’s for fun. You aren’t getting paid to do it; it’s something you like to do with your free time. For a lot of people these days it seems like their only leisure activities are watching television and staying on the Internet. That’s a pity, because hobbies — from rock climbing to collecting something — can have real benefits.
Hobbies often provide something that you might not get in your everyday life. They allow you to do something that’s just for you, and they can help you forget your daily problems and give you a lot of pleasure. If you can find like-minded people in your area, going outside can also be a great way to meet new people and experience new adventures.
If you are adding a new thing into your life, you have to take time and focus away from something else. The good news is that most of us have a lot of time we are not using well, either because we are spending a lot of time online or watching TV or just wasting time we could be spending on our hobbies.
Of course everyone is different and your personality does play a role in what sorts of hobbies you’ll like. Maybe you really like hanging out with friends, so you need to take a class or have an interest that you can do with a group. If you travel a lot, something that you can do anywhere is helpful; if you’re a homebody you might love to be surrounded by a cool collection.
The truth is that you may not hit the perfect activity for you right out of the gate, but you can have a lot of fun trying out new things and exploring what’s out there. Do some web searches, visit the library; don’t be afraid to try new things, and soon you’ll have a hobby that provides you with a lot of fun and stress relief, too.

A.Watching television. B.Staying on the Internet.

71.例文
Dear Tom,
I’m glad to know that you’ll come to China next week. Let me tell you something about Chinese customs.
In our country, we are supposed to shake hands when we meet someone for the first time. Besides, when we are invited to someone’s house, we shouldn’t be late. We are expected to bring a small gift. We never visit a friend’s house without calling first. As for Chinese table manners, when we’re eating at the table, we aren’t expected to point at anybody with our chopsticks, or use our chopsticks to hit an empty bowl. We shouldn’t talk with full mouth.
I hope you have a good time in China.
Yours,
Li Hua
