The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional festival in China. It’s on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. I had a wonderful festival this year. For breakfast, we made and ate rice dumplings. My father told us the story of Qu Yuan. I think we should love our country like him. At ten o'clock, my friends and I watched the boat races held on Li Canal. During the match the sound of drums and the cheering voices made all the people excited. I also had a big dinner with my family in the evening.
Through the activities we learned more about Chinese traditional culture. We decided to write about it and shared it in our circle of friends.
