My time here in China is going well. I love my new school and classmates. Over the October holiday, my parents and I are planning to go to Xi’an to see the Terracotta Army. I’ve heard that it is an amazing sight, and I can’t wait to go. To me, the story of the Terracotta Army is almost unbelievable. It’s amazing that there are more than 8,000 statues, and no one in modern times knew about them until the 1970s.

I am delighted to receive your letter and know your travel plan. I’m also planning to go on a 4-day travel with my parents to Hangzhou to visit my grandparents because they work there. We are taking the plane, leaving on Oct.1st and start watching the games the moment we arrive. We are looking forward to watching table-tennis competition because both my dad and I are fans to Chinese Table-tennis Team. I’ ve heard that the West Lake is a world famous outstanding tourist attraction. It’s amazing that the West Lake was listed in the World Heritage List in 2011.
