It mainly grows in sunny fields, meadows and farmlands in temperate and tropical regions. It needs plenty of sunlight to thrive.

I chose it because its bright yellow petals always face the sun, which gives people a feeling of warmth and vitality. It also symbolizes optimism and positive-ness.
4. What are some interesting facts about it
Some interesting facts about sunflowers:
First, the head of a sunflower is actually made up of thousands of tiny flowers.

A poster
The Peony’s Whisper
Emily Dickinson
A peony buds in secret air-
Its hues are shy to meet the sun-
But when the light unclasps its hair-
The garden trembles-one by one.
Its petals, like a whispered vow,
Unfold in velvet silence deep-
The wind, that paused to watch it now,
Steals half its fragrance as it sleeps.

Make your poster.
The most beautiful flower-Peonies
Do you know peonies They have big, round flowers. They come in pink, red, white... even yellow! Their petals are soft like silk. In China, we call them the “Queen of Flowers”. And they are called “National Flower”.
People grow peonies in gardens for over 1,000 years! In ancient stories, peonies stand for happiness and good luck. Artists love painting them, and you can see peony pictures on cups, clothes, and even buildings! When spring comes, peonies bloom. Their sweet smell makes people happy. Next time you see a peony, say “Hi, Queen!” to it!
Present your poster in class. Then vote for the best one.

Somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean, 1862.
The captain sighed. This was the thickest fog he had ever seen. They were over 330 kilometres from the closest land, so he didn’t know where to go. The ship was on its way to Europe. Just ten hours ago they left New York, but now the engine stopped working. Clearly, they needed help!

“That’s a good sign,” said the captain with more hope.
Almost 340 kilometres away, Billy heard fast-moving wings come into his building and go straight to the water bowl.
