1. 比较级句型
A + be/动词 + 比较级 + than + B (表示 A 比 B 更...)
例：I am taller than you.
例：He works harder than before.
Which/Who is + 比较级, A or B (在选择疑问句中比较两者)
例：Which is bigger, the sun or the moon
特殊句型：the more..., the more...(...越... , ...就越...)
例：The more you practice, the better your English will be.
2. 最高级句型
A + be/动词 + the + 最高级 + (比较范围) (表示 A 是最...的)
常用于此结构：A + be +one of the + 最高级 (表示 A 是最...之一)
例：She is the tallest in her class.
例：This is one of the most interesting books that I have ever read.
注意： 副词最高级前的 the 可以省略。
例：He runs (the) fastest of us all.
3. 原级比较句型
as + 原级 + as (和...一样)
例：He is as tall as his father.
not as/so + 原级 + as (不如...)
例：This movie is not as interesting as that one.
常用修饰语
为了表示比较的程度，可以在比较级前加以下词语：
much, a lot, far (...得多)
例：This garden is much larger than that one.
a little, a bit (稍微...一点)
例：Today is a little colder than yesterday.
even (甚至更...)
例：You must work even harder.
注意： very, so, too 等词不能修饰比较级。

My Life as a Blue Whale
I am the largest and heaviest animal on earth. My weight can be as much as 200 tons. Many people like watching me swim, and they think it is one of the most beautiful things to see.
I live in all oceans except the Arctic Ocean. I eat a lot, but I only feed on some of the tiniest animals in the ocean. Every day, I can eat around four tons of them.
I can live up to 90 years. When my life comes to an end at sea, my body becomes food for many kinds of animals living in and around the sea. This "gift" from me can last for over a year and helps to create a lively and healthy ecosystem. I play an important role in the world, so I hope humans could protect me.
