本节课是湘鲁版小学五年级上册英语第五单元中的第一课时。本节课的话题是谈论日常活动。功能是能听懂并会用What do you usually do in the morning/afternoon/evening 句型进行问答对话和交流，学会有关的单词和短语。同时让学生合理安排自己的日常生活，养成良好的生活习惯。

Sentences:

学习学重难点：
Use Adverbs of frequency (always/usually/sometimes ) to talk about how often one does these daily activities .
学习目标：
By the end of this class，we will be able to
1. name different kinds of daily activities in this class.
2. use adverbs of frequency to describe how often one does these activities.
3.make plans for a day , know good habits about life and study.
教学过程 ：
Step 1: Warm-up.
(1)Listen to a song and learn some new phrases :
in the morning , in the afternoon , in the evening , at night .
(2) Match the time with the correct picture.
Step 2: Listen and say.
A : What do you usually do in the evening
B : I usually wash my clothes . 读并感知
Step 3: Look, listen and act.
(1) listen to the tape for twice and try to answer the questions.
a . What are they talking about
b . What does Zhou Lin do in the morning
c . What does Zhou Lin do in the afternoon
d . What does Zhou Lin do in the evening How about Amy
e . What does Zhou Lin usually do at night
(2) Check the answers and pay attention to the sentences in the conversation.

I sometimes wash my clothes.
I sometimes do some housework .
I always sleep at night.
(3) Read these activities together by looking at the pictures in the PPT. Then I point one picture, let student say the activity that it shows.
(4) Learn adverbs of frequency:
always 总是 100%
usually 通常 80%
often 经常 60%
sometimes 有时 40%
rarely 很少 20%
never 从不 0%
位置：主语后谓语动词前。

Step 6: Read and think.
Look, the boy is Jack. What does he say Let’s read.
“I never （从不）make my bed in the morning .
I sometimes do exercises in the afternoon.
I usually watch TV in the evening.
I always do my homework at night.”
T: Do you think Jack has a good habit
Ss: No.
T: Let’s help him change the bad habit into a good one.
Answers: The answers are open. (变一变频度副词，变一变活动，变一变时间)

Need to do: 1: Copy each verb phrase for five times.
2: Read the dialogue fluently.
