Step 2: Grammar Presentation - The Verb 'Be' (12 mins)
1. Three Forms of 'Be': am, is, are
Explain through a pronoun table:
I → am
You/We/They → are
He/She/It → is
2. Sentence Structures with 'Be':
Affirmative: Subject + be + ...
I am a student.

Negative: Subject + be + not + ...

Step 3: Grammar Presentation - Action Verbs (15 mins)
1. Basic Structure of Action Verbs:
Affirmative: Subject + Verb + ...

Negative: Subject + do/does + not + Verb (base form)
I do not (don't) like football.
She does not (doesn't) play the erhu.
Interrogative: Do/Does + Subject + Verb (base form)

2. Third Person Singular Verb Change Rules (Key Explanation):
General Rule: Add -s
play → plays, like → likes
Ending in s, x, ch, sh, o: Add -es
watch → watches, go → goes, fix → fixes
Consonant + y ending: Change y to i and add -es
study → studies, fly → flies
Special Case:
have → has
