其过去式为chose/t z/。
choose （not） to do sth.选择（不）做某事

choice是choose的名词形式，意为“选择”。
make choices/a choice作出选择
have no choice but to do sth.除了做某事外,别无选择
could /k d/ modal v. 能，可以

此处could并不表示过去，而表示一种更委婉的语气。
此时，could只用于一般疑问句，回答时应用can，不用could。

e.g. Fresh water is important. Life on Earth depends on it.

（1）取决于；由……决定 it/that depends那得看情况

such as 均表示部分列举，列举对象 通常为同类的人或事物。 常位于列举对象之前，列举对象可以是名词（短语）或动词-ing（短语）。
for example 常用逗号与列举对象隔开，可位于列举对象之前或之后。列举对象可以是名词（短语）、动词-ing（短语），还可以是句子。
e.g. She does well in many subjects, such as Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
她很多学科都学得好，例如数学、物理学和化学。

5 Try to pick similar colours.尽量选择相似的颜色。

e.g. The shoes match the dress.= The shoes go well with the dress.
