一、口语化的习语
　　英语语言分为正式语和非正式语，口语化的习语属于非正式语，用在特定的语境中可以使句子更加形象生动。此类习语在英语学习中是比较难的一部分内容，掌握此类习语，首先要根据句子判断它属于哪一类词汇，如名词（短语）、动词（短语）、形容词（短语）/副词（短语）等；其次要根据所在句子的语境，猜出它的含义；最后查词典进一步核实它的确切含义。
二、几类口语化的习语
1.名词（短语）
①I am a movie buff and I often go to the cinema at weekends.（fan）
②My folks can always give me good advice when I need it from them.（the members of your family， especially your parents）
③I have got a lot of stuff to do today so I have no time to play with you.（things）
④It rained cats and dogs that day and my shirt was wet through.（rain heavily）
2.动词（短语）
①When I feel under the weather， I just take a shower， which makes me feel less uncomfortable.（feel sick）
②I often go to the gym to let off steam.（release pressure）
③We have been tired recently so we need kick back and relax.（have a rest and relax）
④I would rather hang out with my friends than watch TV at home.（play）
3.形容词（短语）/副词（短语）
①I hate the food in that cafeteria， which is totally gross.（very unpleasant）
②The old sayings are meaningful but corny as well.（old and uninteresting）
③I got a chance to pay a visit to the theme park.Wow！ That was really awesome.（enjoyable/very good）
