1. Sense group 意群
“意群”(Sense Group)简单说,就是英文句子里意思紧密相关的几个单词组成的小团体。就像我们把家里的东西分类放(比如书本放书架、衣服放衣柜),英文句子也会把表达一个小意思的词 “打包”,这些 “词的小团体” 就是意群。
读句子时按意群停顿,能让意思更清楚;分析句子时找意群,能帮我们快速读懂长句,不会把单词拆得七零八落、理解错意思。
1. Sense group 意群
常见的意群类型
“主谓”/“主谓宾” 意群(句子的核心动作和主体)
基础结构:主语(谁)+ 谓语(做什么) / 主语 + 谓语 + 宾语(做什么事 / 对谁做)
例子:
He / likes playing basketball.
My mom / cooks dinner / every evening.

“Pause(停顿)” 就是我们读英文句子时,在合适的地方短暂 “歇一口气” 的动作。它不是随便停,而是像给句子 “分段”—— 就像我们说中文时不会一口气把所有话说完(比如不会说 “今天我和同学去公园玩还吃了冰淇淋”),英文也需要在关键地方停一下,让听的人能跟上意思,也让自己读得更自然。
2. Pause 停顿
什么时候需要停顿?
两个 “意群” 之间停顿(最常用)
逗号(,)和句号(.)处停顿
长句子里的 “连接词” 前停顿
