Where are Kangkang and his friends
They are outdoors, maybe in a park or an open field.
Activity 1
Talk about the picture and answer the questions.
What are they doing
They are having a good time. One is reading, others are chatting and there is a telescope, maybe they also want to observe the stars.
Listen to the conversation and answer the question.
What do you know about the Big Dipper and the North Star
The Big Dipper looks like a spoon.
Follow the two stars on the right of the Big Dipper, and we can find the North Star.
Activity 2
Kangkang: Guys, come and watch the stars! They look so clear.
Meimei: Wow, there are so many stars! And some of them shine brighter than others.
Xiao Ya: Look at the brightest ones. Are they the Big Dipper and the North Star

I don’t know how to make the pauses in the sentences.
Here are some tips :
1.语法 / 结构停顿：在主句与从句、动词与状语、并列成分之间停，比如 “because/than/and/but” 前或后；
2.语义停顿：按 “谁做了啥→为啥做 / 和谁比 / 靠啥做” 的逻辑，把 “事件→背景 / 条件 / 对比” 分层；
3.标点辅助：逗号、引号、破折号处，通常要停。
Listen and read the sentences. Pay attention to the pauses in the sentences.
1. Most parts of the earth look blue / because of the oceans.
2. “It is a little bigger / than the earth,”/ they guessed.
3. Mercury is the nearest planet / to the Sun / and Neptune is the farthest.

I don’t know how to make the rhythms in the sentences.
Here are some tips :
1.英语句子的节奏，简单说就是 “重音规律 + 停顿间隔 + 语速变化” 的组合，让语言听起来有 “韵律感”。
2.英语是 “重音节拍语言” ，句子里的重音词（标了’的词） 要读得 “响亮、稍慢”，非重音词 要 “弱读、快速带过”，形成 “强 - 弱 - 强” 的节奏。

比较级：形容词末尾加 -er（如 bright→brighter ），或用 more + 形容词（多音节词，如 more beautiful ），用于两者之间的比较 ，结构 “A + 比较级 + than + B” 。
