旗袍原为满族妇女的传统服饰,后经不断改良,与汉族女子服饰相融合,较好地体现了东方女性典雅端庄的风度。

China has many different kinds of traditional clothes. Today, let’s talk about two of these types – hanfu and qipao. Hanfu are a type of traditional clothes for the Han Chinese. They have a history of thousands of years. There are different styles from different times, but they are usually loose and have a belt. Hanfu are still popular today. You can often see young people in hanfu on the streets. Qipao are a kind of dress for women. They are usually close-fitting and come in many different styles. Most qipao dresses have beautiful pictures on them, like Chinese paintings, often with flowers. Today, many women like to wear qipao for special events, such as weddings, festivals, and formal dinners.
