How’s the weather
The suffix -y
We can add the suffix -y to some nouns to form adjectives. The suffix -y usually means “having the quality of”.
1. 大部分直接加-y
2. 少数以不发音的e结尾的名词变形容词，去e再加-y
3. 以重读闭音节结尾的单词、本身就是闭音节的单音节词，双写最后一个辅音字母再加-y

My Favourite Season
Autumn is my favourite season.
I get back to school after spending so many lazy afternoons. I can’t feel sleepy any more since I have to stay energetic for the happy new term.
Farmers are busy during this season for they work to harvest crops in their fields.We are lucky to have a picnic under the cloudy sky. Birds fly among grassy lands.Tourists smell flowers on the sandy fields and then hide from a noisy train . The naughty children seem to enjoy themselves on it, laughing and screaming.
Over there , some people are tasting juicy fruit from the trees, such as grapes, pears, kiwifruit and so on. What a perfect season to be connected with nature!
