Rhyme is a sound pattern in language—usually in poems, songs, or nursery rhymes (童谣) — where the ending sounds of words are similar or the same. It makes text feel musical, easy to read aloud, and memorable.

押韵是指单词的最后一个或几个音节发音相同或相近。在诗歌中,押韵可以使诗歌读起来更加顺口、富有节奏感和音乐美,帮助读者更轻松地记忆和欣赏诗歌。
类型:
尾韵(End Rhyme):这是最常见的押韵形式,指诗歌中每行末尾的单词押韵。 “Twinkle, twinkle, little star, How I wonder what you are.” 中,“star” 和 “are” 分别在每行的末尾押韵。
行内韵(Internal Rhyme):指在同一行诗中,有两个或更多的单词押韵。
“While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping”中 ,“nodded” 和
“nearly” ,“tapping” 和 “rapping” 就构成了行内韵。
近似韵(Assonance):也叫元音韵,指单词中元音发音相同,但辅音发音不同。 “late” 和 “make” ,它们的元音 /e / 发音相同 。
谐韵(Consonance):指单词中辅音发音相同,但元音发音不同。
“truck” 和 “duck” ,它们结尾的辅音 /k/ 发音相同 。
3. 押韵模式(Rhyme Scheme)
诗歌中押韵的排列方式被称为押韵模式,通常用字母来表示。
比如,一首诗如果是每两行押韵,即第一行和第二行押韵,第三行和第四行押韵,
其押韵模式就可以标记为 “aabb” 。

(Rhyme Scheme)
We use letters (a, b, c ...) to mark which lines rhyme.
Lines that rhyme get the same letter.
New rhymes get a new letter.

拟人的作用:把人的思想感情或动作行为赋予物,使物具有某种情感,便于抒发人的某种感情。
Work in groups, discuss and find the sentences in which the writer uses personification (拟人手法).

I like this sentence most because I think though it may be difficult for birds to find a warm and sunny day, they are never afraid or lose heart. I want to learn from them and work hard to make my dream come true.

表示在某个物体之上,而且两个物体表面相连接。其与介词on的用法和意思相同,只是比on更正式。
* upon与on的区别:
表示日期时只能用on,不用upon。如:on Tuesday;on 1 October。
在某些固定搭配中,upon与on不能互换。如:once upon a time 从前;put on 穿上/戴上(衣物、帽子、眼镜等);上演(戏剧、表演等)。
