a pair of 后面常跟复数名词，表示由两个部分构成一个整体的物品。如：
服饰类：a pair of socks 一双袜子，a pair of trousers 一条裤子；
工具、用品类：a pair of scissors 一把剪刀，
a pair of glasses 一副眼镜；
身体部位相关：a pair of eyes 一双眼睛，a pair of ears 一对耳朵；
其他：a pair of earrings 一对耳环，a pair of wings 一对翅膀。
注意：当需要表达的数量大于“一”时，要改变pair 的形式，而后面的名词形式不变，谓语动词取决于pair的单复数。
