The lakes and rivers in the Whitemud Creek area support a healthy population of fish. Fishing was a traditional food source in this area. Today people fish here as a hobby.

Join the Canada Fish & Wildlife Service volunteer team! We are seeking several two-person teams to help our centre with activities from July to September. Volunteers will help with our Senior Fishing and Special Needs fishing events.
Duties include meeting/greeting the public, answering questions, fielding phone calls, and cleaning (including centre restrooms).
