When I opened my hand, the bird did not fly away; she sat looking at me with her bright eyes. I removed the sticky spider-webs that covered her head and wings. Still, she made no attempt to fly. Perhaps she had been struggling against the window too long and was too tired Or too thirsty As I carried her up the blackberry-lined path toward my car where I kept a water bottle, she began to move. I stopped, and she soon took wing but did not immediately fly away. However, she approached within six inches of my face. For a long moment, this tiny creature looked into my eyes, turning her head from side to side. Then she flew quickly out of sight. As I was departing, my friends walked me to my car. I was standing by the car when a hummingbird flew to the center of our group and began hovering. She turned from person to person until she came to me. She again looked directly into my eyes, then let out a squeaking call and was gone. For а moment, all were speechless. Then someone said, She must have come to say good-bye.
The next day , we were glad to see the bird was well enough . The bird flapped its wings as if in a test flight. The thought that I might never see her again made me suddenly a little reluctant to let her go. The bird seemed to feel our emotions, so when we cupped her out of the cage, she didn’t leave immediately. In the beginning, she landed on my shoulder. Then, you would find her standing on the back of Jack's hand, twittering gently, as if biding farewell to us. Finally, it circled the room and left unwillingly. What an unforgettable experience.
He slowly approached the crowded penguins, crouching down. Gently stroking them with care, he whispered softly. Though startled at first, the penguins recognized Tom and let him into their group.
We gathered around talking and laughing, Spider sometimes jumping cheerfully, sometimes licking our cheeks and sometimes stretching his body on my stomach.
Realizing the ellie might be thirsty, I told Amanda to get her some milk. Amanda was considerate enough to pour the milk into a nursing bottle and gently sent the rubber part to her mouth. The ellie licked it first and then drank the milk in one go. Patting her, Amanda murmured “good job, girl. “The little friend calmed down, rubbing her nose on Amanda’s face. “See She loves you! “I shouted. Looking at the cute creature we both breathed a sigh of relief.
Why not do a search on the Internet " suggested Jack .We immediately took a few photos of the bird and posted them online, enquiring about its species and habits. Soon afterwards, some enthusiastic and knowledgeable netizens selflessly shared all the available information about the poor little thing. The following hours witnessed our meticulous care and attention to the bird. Not only did we put the carefully-prepared food in the cage, but we also switched on the heater to make the room a little warmer. Much to our delight and relief, it becomes increasingly refreshed and energetic. Eventually, the bird made it through the night safe and sound.
After days or even weeks of searching, the owner finally receives a call or a message with good news. Their lost pet has been found! The owner rushes to the location, heart pounding with anticipation and hope. And then, at last, they see their beloved companion, tail wagging or purring with joy as they run towards each other. Tears flow freely as they embrace, grateful to be reunited once again. The happiness and relief on both their faces is palpable, and they know that they will never take their time together for granted again.
The dog hesitated for a moment, let out a joyful yelp and then dashed towards us, as if saying “I eventually find you”. Joyful tears welling in our eyes, father knelt down, and wrapped Spider into his huge bear hug while I patted his weathered fur affectionately.
Andy stopped there, with the buzz louder and louder. Just at that moment, Eric rode rapidly towards him like an arrow. He stopped, threw off his clothes and wrapped up their faces. After that, he shouted to Andy, “This way! There is a lake ahead!” With no time to waste, they rode furiously in the direction of the lake, the crazy bees following them. Finally, they made it to the lake. Off their bikes and into the cool water they lived, disappearing below the surface and away from the savage insects. After holding their breath for as long as they could, they came up for air and noticed the bees had gone.
Feeling the creature begin to dive, I had to do everything possible to stop it. Suddenly, the paddle beside caught my eyes. Without hesitation, I seized the paddle, raised it to keep its mouth open. After a deep breath, I caught Liz by the arm and jumped out into the water.
B.救援类
Several minutes passed, but no help came. The air-conditioning had died out, and the lift became really stuffy. We were sweating buckets. We tried to ring the emergency alarm again. Every second that passed was painful “Help!!!” I screamed at the top of my lungs, trying to get someone's attention. A wave of despair washed over me. I felt like we would never make it. In one last effort, I tried banging on the doors. The next few minutes felt like hours as we waited in complete silence.
I did as he instructed, opening the door, stumbling in the water and walking straight toward him, unafraid of surging water. Everything was going well until a powerful-looking wave approached me. I lost my balance but seized the rope tightly . Time passing, tiredness engulfed me with my feet stiff and shivering. I screamed that I couldn’t make it. My lips quivered, big tears rolling down cheeks. Confronted with this situation, Joe constantly comforted me to calm down. Actually, the torrent was indeed temporary, so I gritted out my teeth and kept moving forward slowly and cautiously. The instant I grabbed hold of his hand, I struggle to throw myself at him. Joe patted me and sighed in great relief.
With desperate tears , she suddenly spotted a boat with a figure walking on it. She saw a glimmer of hope. She waved her hands wildly, yelling with all her remaining strength ,“ Help! Help!” It seemed like a century to wait for the boat to approach her. A middle-aged fisherman reached out his hand, carried her to the boat and asked her what had happened. With trembling voice, she replied, My father...sister....there. Help!” On hearing this, the fisherman’s face became serious. He headed the boat towards the direction where she pointed at with full speed, not knowing what would happen if he slowed down even a little bit. Meanwhile, he called for help. After a while, they caught sight of Kiana’s father and sister’s pale face. Having floating on the sea for a long time, they were on board eventually.
1).As Paul got closer, he could tell that the mother seemed to be in the most trouble. Her head was then below the surface of the water. She was drowning. He recalled a movie in which a lifeguard grabbed a drowning victim, pulling the person ashore while swimming on his back. Paul tried this, but the woman's clothing made her so heavy; he kept being dragged under, too. He needed a new plan. Then he dived under the drowning woman, pushing her upward and finally toward the shore. He couldn’t recall if it had taken three, four or five pushes, but at some point, an onlooker was able to get close enough to grab the woman’s hand, pulling her to the shore.Paul knew he needed to rescue the two daughters further down the river. He dived into the current again, swam quickly downstream, held one girl and pushed her successfully toward the shore in the same way he had done her mother. Looking back to the river, he could see someone was helping the girl’s sister---which was a good thing because the teenager in front of him was unconscious. As Paul gently lay her down, a bystander with medical training came forward and attended to her. Thankfully, it was not long before she was conscious again.
Just then a stranger appeared in front of me. With the last hope, I gathered all my strength to cry out “Help” but suddenly a huge wave hit me and drowned my cry. I choked on a big swallow of salty water and felt terrible. Fortunately, my angel was swiftly approaching me and then held me tightly with his strong arm. My basic knowledge reminded me to stay relaxed before I fell into a world of darkness.
Immediately, Olav turned the van 面包车 round jumped out and opened the sliding doors to the empty cargo space. Everyone, get in here!" he shouted at the top of his lungs, pointing to the van and waving at the panicked crowd. At this moment, the frightened tourists poured in. The deadly fumes swept through the tunnel, contaminating all the air in its path. If they didn’t leave soon the smoke would choke and blind them all. “We are leaving!" shouted Olav, leaping to the driver's seat after making sure no one was left behind. He had hardly stepped on the accelerator when the thick smoke consumed the area. The color went from everyone's face. After a20 minutes' desperate drive, finally there they arrived-the exit of the tunnel! What a narrow escape! All of them breathed a sigh of relief. Without Olav, they would not have got away from it and even would have choked to death in the tunnel.
Panic set in. And a sense of fright mingled with regret came dominating me. Suddenly I knew I must do something. I grabbed my fist, and hit the man’s head with all might. All at once, the motorcycle was out of control and both of us fell to ground. Fortunately I didn‘t get injured. Without thinking twice, I ran away as my leg could carry me. Lucky me! A police car passed at this moment. The man began to escape hurriedly but the police caught him. At last, the policemen sent me back home safely.
My hopes were lifted when heard the firefighters on the other side of the lift door. Help was finally here! The brave firefighters hit the doors open using their tools. It felt like a hundred pound weight was lifted off me. I made a sigh of relief when the doors were finally opened and all this drama was over.
Feeling regretful, I decided to look for him through the Internet, but in vain, made a post, adding that “Words are far from enough to convey my heartfelt thanks, my angel. Best wishes for you!", expecting him to see my heart with an increasing number of likes and shares. Although I have not seen my hero ever since, the gratitude to him will live in my heart forever.
