I live in Guangzhou. My favourite season is summer. Everything is alive. The trees have a lot of green leaves, and they can help keep me cool on sunny days. There are also many beautiful flowers in summer. They smell really nice.
The best thing about summer is the summer holiday! I have lots of time to do fun things. I enjoy going swimming with my friends. I also love going running in the park with my best friend. It is great to exercise outdoors in summer, and it is nice to eat ice cream on a hot day. Sometimes I go to the beach with my family. I like to build sandcastles there with my little sister.

My favourite season: autumn
I live in Shanghai. My favourite season is autumn. It is always cool and crisp in autumn, and the weather is never too hot or too cold. It makes me feel very comfortable.
The scenery in autumn is amazing! The leaves on the trees turn golden and red. When the wind blows, the leaves fall down like dancing butterflies. Fields are full of ripe crops, and farmers are busy reaping. It is the season of harvest!
The best thing about autumn is the fun activities. I often go on a family outing with my parents on weekends. We sometimes go to the orchard to pick fresh apples. I also love celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with my family—we eat mooncakes and watch the bright moon together. Our school usually holds the Sports Meeting in autumn, and I enjoy running in the race.
Autumn is full of joy and beauty. I love it the most for sure!
