“Tammy, come here, please. Father needs your help in the kitchen,” Tammy’s father called her out. Tammy was in her room, getting ready to do her homework. “Yes, Daddy” she answered.
She hurried out of her bedroom and down the hallway. She was only nine years old. Her elder sister, Ella, moved away to go to her high school in another city. With Ella leaving home, Tammy had to do a lot of things, especially now, because her mother was ill.
