PART 01 状语从句概念
在复合句中，如果作状语的是一个从句，该从句被称为状语从句（Adverbial Clause)。
引导时间状语从句的词 有when；before；after； until；as soon as；while；since等。
1.由when 连接的时间状语从句
when表示“当……时候，那时” 。
例如: I was doing my homework when my father reached home.
我父亲到家时,我在做作业。

2.由before连接的时间状语从句
before表示“在……之前”。
例如：He studied here before he went to Beijing.
他去北京前在这里学习。
3. 由after连接的时间状语从句
after表示“在……之后”
例如：
He wants to be famous after he becomes rich．
他变富有后便想出名。
4. 由until连接的时间状语从句
until 表示“直到”, （从句常在主句后, ）till是口语体，可以代替until。当用not...until...引导一个时间状语从句时一般意为“直到……才……”。
例如：They didn’t go back home until they finished cleaning their classroom.
他们直到打扫完教室后才回家。
He slept until it was nine o’clock（时刻）.
他直到九点才睡觉。

4. after的用法
“在……之后”
(1)prep.
After testing, some students look very happy.
考试结束后，一些学生看起来很高兴。
(2)adv.
It happened twenty years after.
这事发生在20年之后。
(3)conj.
We all missed you after you left.
你走了以后，我们都很想你。
5. as soon as 的用法
“一……就……”，主句为一般将来时，从句用
一般现在时代替一般将来时(主将从现)。
I will tell him the news as soon as he comes back.
他一回来我就把这个消息告诉他。

1、从句动作既可以是延续性动词，也可以是短暂性动词
1.The students were playing computer games when the teacher came in.
