"That sounds fun," Lucas said. "But sadly, I'm not allowed to climb trees any more."
"That's funny," Grandpa said. "I'm not allowed to do that either. Parents, huh "

Mount Wangwu (王屋山), located about 40 kilometres north-west of Jiyuan, Henan, is a must- see place. It is full of natural beauty. Visitors can enjoy green mountains, interesting stones, beautiful waterfalls, and tall, green mountains.
The tallest part is called Tiantan Peak. It rises 1,715 metres high and is known as a sacred site (圣地). Long ago, the Yellow Emperor held some important events there. In ancient times, lots of people visited this mountain to ask for blessing (祈福) and run in good luck. Tiantan Peak is also home to a famous spring—it provides fresh water all year round.
On the southern side of Mount Wangwu, you can find the location from the well-known story of Yu Gong Move the Mountains. This location has a long ridge (山脊) rising from Tiantan Peak. To the west of the mountain is Yanggu Village, and to the east is Xiaoyao River. The villagers used to walk to the river to get water, and the ridge was quite challenging. That is why the character Yu Gong decided to dig it away. Today, you can still see a big hole in the mountain, as if someone dug it out by hand.
There are many wonderful places to visit at Mount Wangwu. Some of the best include Yuanyang Pond, Longmen Grottoes, and Yanggu Palace. Take Yanggu Palace for example. All over the world, people are starting to think instead of buying them. This idea is called the sharing economy. This sharing often takes place across digital platforms, such as online communities or apps. It helps people save money and makes things easier for everyone.
For instance, in Beijing, some people can use an app to rent (租)out a powerful washer for the weekend. Others rent out an empty garage (车库) for storing things. The sharing economy means that for something you don't use very often, you can rent it instead of buying it. This way, money is saved, and everyone wins. It also helps protect the environment.
Many popular apps are part of this idea. Airbnb lets people rent out their spare rooms. Travellers can stay in these rooms instead of expensive hotels. It helps both the hosts and the guests. Another app, Uber, allows people to share rides. Drivers can make money, and riders can get around more easily without owning a car.
Now sharing ideas are growing too. In New York, a public library lets people borrow clothes for job interviews. This helps people look their best without spending too much money. Some websites, like Rent the Runway, let women rent beautiful dresses for special events at lower prices. Other apps let community members share tools or kitchen things. People can even share their skills and services, like walking dogs or helping with chores.
Of course, there are probably some problems with the sharing economy, like low-quality service or unclear guidelines. But many people still enjoy it. It helps people connect with others and helps create a friendlier world where kindness and trust can grow.
( )37. What is the sharing economy mainly about
Selling unused things to make money.
B. Buying new things instead of renting them.
C. Making things by hand to protect the environment.
D. Sharing things to save money and cut down on waste.
( )38. What does the underlined word "spare" mean in Paragraph 3
Unused. B. Cheap. C. Untidy. D. Old.
( )39. What is the problem with the sharing economy according to the last paragraph
It is hard to use the apps.
It may cause people to lose jobs.
It changes the way people communicate.
It may have unclear rules or poor service.
( )40. Why did the writer write the passage
To explain that sharing economy apps are unsafe.
To introduce the sharing economy and its good sides.
To introduce popular sharing economy apps like Airbnb.
D. To explain why sharing things is better than buying them.

Zu Chongzhi was a Chinese mathematician, astronomer (天文学家), and engineer in ancient China. He was born during the Northern and Southern dynasties. 41 He devoted his life to the study of maths in these fields, as well as calendar science and mechanics.
42 Records show that Zu worked out the numerical value of pi—between 3.1415925 and 3.1415927. It was the most advanced achievement worldwide at that time. In order to remember Zu, some mathematicians suggested calling pi “Zu Lǜ”.

This was a major break through in history of Chinese calendar. 43 The great mathematician never saw his calendar put into use. Almost ten years after his death, the new calendar was finally accepted.
Zu was also skilled in machine making. 44 No matter how the vehicle turned, the pointer always pointed to the south. Zu also invented the 1,000-li boat, which could travel about 100 li (50 km) in a day.
Zu was one of the few Chinese mathematicians with a lunar crater (月球环形山) named after him. The crater, called "Zu Chongzhi", is on the far side of the Moon. It is about 28.3 km wide and 1.98 km deep. 45

AI in Our Life AI is becoming more and more popular in our lives. It brings great conveniences to our life, especially in study. Students can use AI-based learning apps to get personalized study plans. These apps can analyze students' learning situations and point out their weaknesses, helping them improve quickly. In daily life, AI-powered smart home devices make our life easier. We can control the lights, air conditioners and other appliances with our voices, saving a lot of time and energy.
However, AI also leads to some problems. Some people may lose their jobs because machines can do their work. Another problem is over-reliance on AI. Some students use AI to do their homework instead of thinking by themselves, which makes their thinking ability weaker. What's more, AI also has safety problems. Personal information stored in AI systems may be stolen by criminals.
To deal with these challenges, we should keep learning new knowledge and skills to keep up with the development of AI. It is also important to develop our creativity and thinking ability, which AI cannot replace. Besides, we should use AI in a responsible way and make sure it serves people in a safe environment. In a word, AI is a powerful tool. We should make good use of it while avoiding its disadvantages.
