方位介词 in,on与under 的用法
1.方位介词的用法
英语中表示人或物的位置时，通常要借助方位介词。方位介词不能单独使用，通常和后面的名词或代词构成介词短语。即：方位介词(in/on/under)+定冠词the或形容词性物主代词等+名词。
2.方位介词 in,on与 under 的用法
（1）in表示“在......中，在......里”，指在某个空间的内部。

(2)on表示“在......上”，通常指一个人或物在另一个物体的上面，两者之间有接触面。
on the wall 在墙上
on the floor 在（室内）地板上
(3)under表示“在......下”，常指一个人或物在另一个物体的正下方，两者之间可能有空隙，也可能接触着，或一物为另一物所覆盖。
under the chair 在椅子下面
under the tree在树下
I think your pen is under that book.
我想你的钢笔在那本书下面。
注意：对这些表示位置的介词短语提问，要用疑问副词where。
--Where are the balls 球在哪里？
--They're under the chair. 它们在椅子下面。
