It's good to make mistakes.and here is why First of all, mistakes are a clear sign that you are trying new things. It's always good to try new things because when you are trying new things you are growing.
If you never try anything new,how can you improve How can you make yourself stronger The simple answer is"You can't."Look around you. With very few exceptions(例外), either everything you see in your world or every single detail of every single thing is the result of someone trying something new.
Another good thing about mistakes is this:When you are making mistakes, you are learning.Consider this:Edison failed 10,000 times before he perfected the light bulb. When asked how it felt to fail that many times,he said that he hadn't failed 10,000 times, but rather had learned 10,000 things that didn't work.
Finally, when you make a mistake you are much closer to success. Why Because when all is said and done, you will have tried some numbers of things before you succeed.Every time you make a mistake, you eliminate one of those difficulties and are one step closer.
But this all doesn't mean that you should go ahead without considering the consequences(后果)of a mistake. However, when you try something new,you have to be willing to set some reasonable limits so that in the event that it doesn't work out the way you want it to,you will be in a normal place to try again.
We all have limited time and money so don't waste them all on one problem.Realize that it probably won't be perfect the first time and deal with these resources properly so you can learn, make corrections, and try it again.Only by accepting and using your mistakes in this way can you make significant advances in your business and your career.
There is an old saying that goes,"If you're not making mistakes, you're not trying hard enough.”
So go ahead and make mistakes. And learn. And grow. And succeed.

Experts recently suggested that teens should start having early bedtimes. Before you think it as a habit suited only for young kids, consider that there are serious advantages in being well-rested.And now, even more research suggests that putting phones away before going to sleep is important to teens' well-being.
A new study from Seton Hall University School of Health and Medicine Science found that 62 percent of kids used their smart phones before bed,and it's causing less sleep and poor performance in school.
Those teens who text before bedtime tend to go to sleep later, and get up later in the morning.Such behavior can be associated ( 联系 ) with mental health illnesses like depression(抑郁) or anxiety. Besides, once teens do receive a text, experts found, they tend to respond right away. Then the text conversation continues —leading to an even later bedtime.
The study's co-author Dr.Peter Polos says this leads to excessive stimulation(过度刺激)at night. Light from electronic devices ( 设备 ) can prevent the secretion(分泌)of melatonin—a hormone(荷尔蒙)that promotes sleep, which makes sleep difficult in the face of overuse of smart phones at night. It's true!More screen time means less sleep time; other studies have suggested the same idea.
As for a final piece of advice,Dr.SushanthBhat says, since getting the proper amount of sleep is very important for brain development and learning in the teenage years, our study should encourage parents and guardians(监护人)to limit the smart phone usage of kids at night.Keep in mind that teens aren't the only ones addicted to their phones!Adults can also benefit from setting a tech curfew(宵禁)for themselves. After all, kids learn by example!

For years teachers have tried ways of bringing humor into the classroom to keep kids engaged, and Mary Kay Morrison, the author of the book Using Humor to Maximize Learning, says brain research shows that it's a good idea.
“It improves learning and strengthens memories by gaining students' attention and then helps them absorb the information,"she says. She notes that students surveyed on the topic say teachers who use humor are much more effective at inspiring them, engaging them, reducing their anxiety(焦虑),exciting their interest in learning and developing positive teacher-student relationships.
Experts say, however, that it has to be carried out properly to be effective.“A classroom without learning is a failed one,but the atmosphere can be playful and even joyful."says Sean O'Brien,an award-winning English teacher at West Ranch High School in Stevenson Ranch,CA.,who has gained attention for his humor."It probably shouldn't just be fun the way an amusement park is.”
Morrison agrees but says it should be used often, and any teacher can try it.“It should be done intentionally (有意地)with thought, but all types of teachers can use humor effectively if they work at it.”
She notes that humor gets students' attention because it typically involves the unexpected, which “stimulates the attentional center of the brain”which,in turn, increases the likelihood of information recollection. Then, she says, humor actually activates more of the brain than many other activities in a classroom. So,a student who is just listening, for instance,is using one part of the brain but the humor will add to the stimulation.
Morrison notes that it also has other less obvious benefits——reducing stress for the teacher and the students, increasing creativity and energy in the classroom and creating and improving the atmosphere or culture."Humor is a social lubricant(润滑剂)," she says."It promotes trust, communication and goodwill, but must be done with thought and care.”
