(1)Pretty作形容词，意为“漂亮的；美丽的”，常用来修饰名词，可用于描述人、物或地方等。
如：She is a pretty girl.她是个漂亮的女孩。
(2)pretty还可以作副词，意为“相当；十分；非常”，用来修饰形容词或副词，程度上比very稍弱。
如：The book is pretty interesting.这本书相当有趣。
