Why are they important to nature
Panda: It's a rare（罕见的） animal in China, eating bamboo. It shows if the forest is healthy and helps keep bamboo forests in balance.
Ginkgo Tree : It's an ancient plant,called a "living fossil"（活化石）. It helps us study how plants evolved（演化）. It also provides homes and food for some creatures（生物）.
Penguin: Most live in Antarctica. It shows how the ocean is and is important in the ocean food chain（海洋食物链）.
Bamboo Sea: It's where pandas live, giving them food and space. It also helps keep soil and water and adjust the climate（保持水土、调节气候）.
