We learn to cook for several important reasons:
Independence(独立) in Life: It enables(使能够) us to solve(解决) dietary(饮食的) problems independently in daily life without relying on others.
Health management(管理): When cooking by ourselves, we can control(控制) the choice of ingredients and seasonings(配料及调味品), which helps maintain(保持) a healthy diet.

Ingredients needed:
One whole fish (about 500g).
2 tablespoons of soy sauce.
A little salt.
Several slices of ginger.
Some green onions.
A few drops of sesame oil.
Cooking steps:
1.First, clean the fish thoroughly and make several cuts on its body. Then, rub some salt on the fish and stuff (塞)ginger slices inside its belly(肚子).
2.Next, put the fish in a steamer(蒸锅) and steam it over high heat for about 10 minutes.
3.Then, take the fish out, pour out the water inside the fish, remove the ginger slices, and place green onion slices on top.
4.Finally, heat some sesame oil until it smokes slightly, pour it over the green onion, and then add soy sauce. Now the steamed fish is ready to serve.
