构成 由if引导的条件状语从句和主句构成。if引导的条件状语从句可位于主句之前或之后。位于主句之前时,一般要用逗号与主句隔开;如果放在主句之后,其前不必用逗号
时态 从句和主句都用一般现在时
eg: If you touch fire, you get burned. 
如果你触碰火,你会被烧伤。
Plants die if they don't get enough water. 
如果植物得不到足够的水,就会死亡。
条件状语从句
第一条件句 概念 第一条件句是一种用于表达假设情况及其可能结果的句子结构,通常用于谈论将来可能发生的事情
构成 由if引导的条件状语从句和主句构成。if引导的条件状语从句可位于主句之前或之后。位于主句之前时,一般要用逗号与主句隔开;如果放在主句之后,其前不必用逗号
时态 if引导的条件状语从句用一般现在时,主句用一般将来时,也可以用“情态动词(如can、may、might、should等)十动词原形”
eg: If it rains tomorrow, I won't go hiking.
=I won't go hiking if it rains tomorrow.
如果明天下雨,我就不去远足。
You can pass the exam if you study hard.

 第一条件句通常可与以下句型相互转换:
①祈使句+and/or + 一般将来时的句子.
eg: If you are quick, you won't be late for class.
=Be quick, and you won't be late for class.
=Be quick, or you will be late for class.
如果你动作快,就不会上课迟到。
②含有介词 with 或 without 的句子
eg: If there is no water, we can't live.
  =We can't live without water.
如果没有水,我们就无法生存。
