“subject” 作名词,意为“科目,主题”。常见搭配:school subjects:学校科目;on the subject of:关于…… 话题。
We have many different school subjects. 我们有很多不同的学校科目。
On the subject of music, I really love pop songs.
关于音乐这个话题,我真的很喜欢流行歌曲。
“favorite”作形容词,意为“最喜欢的,中意的”。常用搭配:favorite subject 最喜欢的科目;favorite color 最喜欢的颜色;favorite food 最喜欢的食物。前通常用形容词性物主代词来表示“某人最喜欢的”。
My favorite subject is English. 我最喜欢的科目是英语。
Her favorite color is blue. 她最喜欢的颜色是蓝色。
His favorite food is pizza. 他最喜欢的食物是披萨。
What’s sb.'s favourite+名词? 某人最喜欢的······是什么?
可与“What+名词+is sb.’s favourite?”或“What+名词+do/does sb.like best?”相互转换,用来询问某人最喜欢的事物。

useful〔形容词〕有用的;有益的
它虽然以元音字母u开头,但其读音为/'ju:sfl/,即读音以辅音音素开头,故useful 前若有不定冠词,应用a而不用an。其名词形式为use(使用;用途)。

why 〔疑问副词〕为什么
