There are many things to do at home when my parents are away. For example, I can get up on time. That's important, because I do not want to be late for school! I can also make my bed, although I often don't do it. I have a lot of homework every day, so I go to bed late. I am so tired that I cannot get up early enough to make my bed. I can go shopping for food, but I prefer to buy some fast food because it’s convenient. But I cook at home sometimes because it is cheaper.

2. Turn off the TV！关上电视！
　　turn off -------- turn on

　　 turn down 　 ------- 　turn up

【注意】
　turn off, turn on, turn down, turn up都是“动词+副词”型动词短语，名词作宾语时，放在副词
前后均可，但代词作宾语时，必须放在动词和副词之间。
　Remember to turn off the lights before you leave.记得你离开前把灯关上。
　The radio is noisy. Turn it down. 收音机太吵了，把音量调低一下。
