Hippos, known as “river horses”, are one of the world’s largest land animals in Africa.

When the sun goes down, hippos will come out of the water and travel to look for food.
It’s easy to think hippos are funny and friendly animals. But the truth is that they are easy to be angry and often fight. _______ They fight with lions as well as crocodiles for land or rivers. They fight to protect their young babies. They also attack(袭击)boats that come too close to them for safety(安全). In fact, hippos are dangerous!

①It was reported that a 17-year-old boy had a stroke(中风)and nearly died after spending 40 hours playing the online game King of Glory. This happened in Guangzhou in April last year.
It shows how bad things can happen if one becomes addicted(上瘾)to the Internet.
②And according to China Internet Network Information Center, among China’s 772 million Internet users, about 151 million of them are between the ages of 10 and 19. So it is necessary for parents and schools to educate children to use the Internet in a good way.
③To stop more teenagers from becoming addicted to the Internet, the Ministry of Education(MOE)(教育部)sent a letter to all parents in China on April 20. Some is useful and proper for students, helping them know more about the world while others may not. Schools are told to teach students how to avoid unhealthy content(内容),such as violence(暴力)or vulgar(粗俗的)languages.
⑤MOE’s messages leave us to think about why some of our children choose to sit before the screen day and night instead of going out to breathe the fresh air.
