教材简析 What 主题意义&主要内容 本节课选自人教 PEP 版英语六年级上册第四单元，本课时学习内容是B部分的单词和对话融合课，主要通过John向他弟弟介绍笔友的兴趣等方面的信息，掌握词组：cooks Chinese food, studies Chinese, does word puzzles, goes hiking音、形、义，鼓励学生参与到迁移创新的语言运用活动中，引导学生结交有共同兴趣爱好的朋友。 How 文体结构&语言特点 学生在教师的引导下自主学习本课的核心单词，根据图片， 音频， 书写等让学生从听觉、视觉直观，知识拓展等感知本节课的核心词汇和句型。通过自主发表看法和意见，让学生在交际中巩固所学内容，从中体验、实践、交流和探究语言，达成逐步熟悉词汇的意义和功能再通过和同学之间谈论第三方的习惯或兴趣爱好等，引导学生注重培养业余兴趣爱好。 Why 语篇意图&语篇价值 通过小组自主探究学习新词，运用核心句型进行交流，询问并回答他人周末的计划，感知一般将来时的语用功能等，达成逐步熟悉词汇的意义和功能再通过和同学之间谈论各自的兴趣爱好，引导学生注重培养业余兴趣爱好，在对话和写作输出中提高学生用英语表达的能力。
