Language points
grow 作动词，意为“生长；成长；长大；增长”，既可指植物的生长，也可指人的成长和发展，其常见短语： grow up，意为“长大；成长”。
e.g. The plants grow quickly in spring. 植物在春天迅速生长。

易混辨析
grow 与 plant
（1）grow 作动词，还可意为“栽种；种植”，指种植后的栽培、管理过程。
（2）plant 作动词，意为“栽种，播种”， 指把种子或秧苗种到土壤， 使其生长； 还可作可数名词，意为“植物”。

wear 穿
辨析：wear与put on wear 强调穿、戴的状态，后接表示衣服、鞋子、帽子、手表、首饰等的名词，还可接表示胡须、发型等的名词。
put on 强调穿、戴的动作，后接表示衣服、鞋子、帽子、手表、首饰等的名词。
