The earth is getting hotter. We call it global warming. What makes this happen People burn things like gas, oil, and coal. They cut down trees and create a lot of waste. These are major reasons for global warming.
Global warming affects everything on the planet. It’s like getting a fever. If we have a few degrees’ increase in body temperature, we feel sick. The same goes for our planet. The effects of global
warming are serious. For example, the snow and
ice in the North Pole are starting to melt. This
causes the sea level to rise, which can lead to
more floods and storms.
Thankfully, we can help slow down global warming by taking some simple actions. Instead of driving, we can choose to walk or bike. Turn off devices we aren’t using like TVs and lights. Another great way to help is by planting trees in our community and doing other “green” activities. Just by making some small changes in our daily lives, we can play a role in addressing global warming.

Plastic pollution
Plastic waste is a big problem because people use too much plastic every day. Many items like bags and bottles are made of plastic and are thrown away after one use. Some people don’t recycle or throw plastic waste properly, which makes the pollution worse.
This pollution harms both nature and humans. Sea animals like turtles and seals often mistake plastic for food, leading to starvation or death. On land, plastic waste fills landfills and releases toxic chemicals into soil.
To reduce plastic waste, we can take simple actions. First, use reusable bags and bottles instead of single-use plastic. Second, recycle plastic waste correctly. Third, tell others about the importance of reducing plastic. Every small effort counts!
