Life is a journey full of the unexpected. Last month,my mom encouraged me to take an active part in a storytelling competition.I agreed finally though I doubted whether I could perform well.
During the competition, I shared a story about my grandma, trying my best to make my expressions as vivid as possible. To my astonishment, I won the first prize, which was absolutely a pleasant surprise for me.
What I’ve learned from this experience is that it’s of great importance to seize every opportunity and give it a try.Besides, we should not only step out of our comfort zone bravely but also make an effort to do everything well,because unexpected rewards may come to us when we least expect them.
