It is a happy festival. People remember their family members who have died. They believe the spirits of their family come back to visit on these days.
People paint their faces to look like skulls. They make beautiful altars with many flowers, candles, photos, and food. It is not scary. It is a festival full of love and memories.
Holi: The Festival of Colors(胡里节)
India, Usually in March
It is a colorful festival to welcome spring and celebrate happiness.
People run to the streets and throw colorful powder and water at each other! Everyone becomes colorful. They sing and dance together. It is very fun.

It is a beautiful activity of sending lanterns into the sky.
