Friends are important in our lives. And my best friend is Mia. We both love reading-we often sit in the school library after class and share our favorite stories, which makes every quiet afternoon full of joy.
As the old saying goes, “A friend in need is a friend indeed.” Though I’m careful and like planning things ahead, Mia is free-spirited and loves trying new activities. When I worried about my math test last month, she stayed with me after school and helped me go over the difficult problems again and again; when she wanted to join the school dance club, I encouraged her to be brave and even practiced simple steps with her in the playground. Also, we always keep each other’s small secrets, like the gift I’m preparing for my mom’s birthday.
I think friendship is about accepting each other’s differences and standing by one another. With Mia, I learn to be more open to new things, and I know true friends make our ordinary lives feel warm and bright.
2. again and again (一遍又一遍) : 比”help me go over”更能体现朋友的耐心,让”互相帮助”的细节更真实。
1. we often sit in the school library after class and share our favorite stories, which makes every quiet afternoon full of joy:
2. When 1 worried about my math test last month, she stayed with me after school and helped me go over the difficult problems again and again; when she wanted to join the school dance club, I encouraged her to be brave and even practiced simple steps with her in the playground:
3. Also, we always keep each other’s small secrets, like the gift I’m preparing for my mom’s birthday:
4. I think friendship is about accepting each other’s differences and standing by one another:
结尾用”accepting differences and standing by one another”总结友谊的内涵,既呼应前文的”性格差异”, 又让”总分总”的结构更闭环。
