I breathed a song into the air, It fell to earth I knew not where; For who has the sight so keen and strong, That can follow the flight of a song Long, long afterwards, in an oak, I found the arrow, still unbroke; And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend. Poem B: I love three things in this world, The sun, the moon and you. The sun for the day, the moon for the night, and you forever. For the world you are somebody, But for somebody you are the world. I drop a tear in the ocean And the day you find it is the day I will stop loving you! People laugh and people cry, Some say hi while some bye, Some give up and some always try, Others may forget you but never will I.Poem C (excerpt): Two roads diverged in a yellow wood And sorry I could not travel both And be one traveler, long I stood And looked down one as far as I could To where it bent in the undergrowth; And both that morning equally lay In leaves no step had trodden black. Oh, I kept the first for another day! Yet knowing how way leads on to way, I doubted if I should even come back. I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference. Poem D: I don’t know what your dream is. I don’t care how disappointing it might have been, As you’ve been working toward that dream. Some of you already know that is hard. It’s not easy. In the process of working on your dreams, You’re going to incur a lot of disappointment, a lot of failure, a lot of pain. For those of you that never experience some hardships, Don’t give up on your dream. There are right times on the way to have come. But they have not come to be seen, they have come to be past. What does “a tear in the ocean” in Poem B imply I feel sad for your love. You mean everything to me.I won’t stop loving you all my life.My love for you is as wide as the ocean.22. Which poem is a suitable choice to encourage a frustrated friend A. Poem A. B. Poem B. C. Poem C. D. Poem D.23. Which of the following themes is NOT covered in the four poems A. Friendship. B. Freedom. C. Choices. D. Perseverance.BRosamund Pike Shines in Flawed Marie Curie BiopicRosamund Pike delivered one of the most accomplished performances of the past few years in 2018’s A Private War, in which she played journalist Marie Colvin. In Radioactive, Pike brings the same level of stable commitment to an alternately fascinating and disappointing biopic (传记片) about French scientist Marie Curie.Based on Lauren Redniss’s graphic novel (图像小说), Radioactive covers the well-known achievements of Marie Curie: her Nobel Prize for discovering radium and polonium, and her groundbreaking research on radioactivity. For those unfamiliar with her personal life, the film reveals lesser-known aspects, including her passionate partnership with her husband Pierre, a disgraceful affair that damaged her reputation, and her Polish roots, which made her an outsider in Paris. Though not an activist, Curie’s determination to be respected in a male-dominated scientific world aligns with women’s rights advocacy.Directed by Marjane Satrapi, Radioactive attempts to translate the bold visuals and narrative style of a graphic novel into a vivid movie with mixed results. The film is visually striking, thanks to Anthony Dod Mantle’s filming skills — the glowing green radium is both stunning and tragic. Yet the storytelling lacks fluency when Satrapi inserts surreal time jumps, showing how Curie’s discoveries later influenced both medicine and warfare.Pike delivers a strong performance, portraying Curie as brilliant but difficult; admirable yet not always likable. However, the film struggles with its uneven structure, shifting between biography and symbolic scenes that feel out of place. The irony of Curie’s story is that she hated suffering, yet her work led to both life-saving treatments and destructive weapons.Ultimately, Radioactive’s biggest flaw may be its source material. The fragmented (碎片化的) style of the graphic novel doesn’t fully translate to film, leaving the story feeling uneven. While Pike’s performance and Curie’s legendary life make the movie worth watching, the execution (执行) falls short of its potential. What is the primary subject of the film Radioactive The life story of journalist Marie Colvin. The history of radium and nuclear warfare.A fictional story about a Polish scientist in Paris.Marie Curie’s achievements and personal struggle.25. What does the underlined words aligns with in paragraph 2 likely mean A. weighs up. B. shrinks from. C. corresponds with. D. interferes with.26. What criticism does the passage highlight about Radioactive A. The actress’ performance is unconvincing.B. Curie’s scientific discoveries are inaccurate.C. The film is a flawed translation from page to screen.D. The film fails to address Curie’s influence on equal rights.27. Which section of a newspaper is this passage possibly from A. Health & Wealth. B. Opinions & Thoughts.C. Agendas & Events. D. Technology & Apps.CRemember when concerts were just about singing along and maybe buying a T-shirt Well, those days are over. Nowadays, concerts have grown into massive money-makers, turning cities into buzzing spots full of tourists, shoppers, and excited fans ready to spend.Take Taylor Swift's Eras Tour in 2023. It wasn’t just a big show — it poured over $5 billion into the U.S. economy. Hotels were booked months ahead, ride-share drivers worked nonstop, and local restaurants couldn’t keep up with hungry fans. China has seen similar effects, with stars like Jay Chou filling arenas and boosting local economies during their tours. Through concerts, cities weren’t just hoping for a good time — they were chasing real cash, showing that a great concert can bring in more money than many ads and campaigns combined. Some critics argue that this surge in economic activity is just a temporary spike that disappears once the last note fades, overlooking the fact that music’s impact goes far beyond immediate spending; it shapes identity, community, and memories that keep fans returning time after time, while social media can increase this effect greatly, as a single viral concert clip can inspire thousands more to join future events. This complex interplay of emotional connection and digital reach means the concert economy is about much more than money.Governments are quick to recognize this potential. Shanghai now combines major concerts with tourism packages, Seoul has built immersive K-pop experience centers, and smaller cities are investing in upgraded venues to attract big-name acts, understanding that live music can be a vital part of urban development strategies that combine cultural appeal with economic growth. So, is the concert economy simply a passing trend, or does it signal the future of how cities grow and thrive As more places try to catch this rhythm, maybe it’s time to ask — how much of our economic future will be written on the music stage Why does the author mention Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and Jay Chou’s tours To show only superstars boost the concert economy. To compare Western and Asian music markets' impacts. To illustrate concerts drive big economic growth globally. To prove concerts are more popular than other entertainments.29. What can be inferred from Paragraph 3 about the concert economy’s impact A. It is mostly temporary, tied to the concert period.B. It utterly depends on cultural bonds from concerts.C. It relies barely on social media for long-term benefits.D. It clearly goes far beyond short-term spending to cultural aspects.30. What does the passage suggest about the concert economy’s role in urban development A. Limits to music-focused cities.B. Fits into city growth strategies.C. Ranks below traditional industries.D. Demands heavy funding, low return.31. What is the author’s attitude toward the future of the concert economy A. Pessimistic. B. Doubtful. C. Optimistic. D. Neutral.DAfter astonishing breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, many people worry that they will be replaced by AI. Global Google searches for “is my job safe ” have doubled in recent months, as people fear that they will be replaced with large language models (LLMs). In a recent paper Tyna Eloundou of OpenAI and colleagues say that “around 80% of the US workforce could have at least 10% of their work tasks affected by the introduction of LLMs”.Economists, however, tend to enjoy making predictions about automation more than they enjoy testing them. In the early 2010s many of them loudly predicted that robots would kill jobs by the millions, only to fall silent when employment rates across the rich world rose to all-time highs.Few of the doom-mongers (末日论者) have a good explanation for why countries with the highest rates of tech usage around the globe, such as Japan, Singapore and the Republic of Korea, consistently have among the lowest rates of unemployment. Here we introduce our first attempt at tracking AI’s impact on jobs. Using American data on employment by occupation, we single out white-collar workers.White-collar roles are thought to be especially sensitive to generative AI, which is becoming ever better at logical reasoning and creativity. However, there is as yet little evidence of an AI hit to employment. In the spring of 2020 white-collar jobs rose, as many people in service occupations lost their job at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. And in the past year the white-collar share of employment in professions thought to be at risk from generative AI has risen by 0.5%.Of course, it’s still early days for generative AI. Few firms yet use generative Al tools at large scale, so the impact on jobs could merely be delayed.Another possibility, however, is that these new technologies will end up destroying only a small number of roles. While Al may be efficient at some tasks, it may be less good at others, such as management and working out what others need.AI could even have a positive effect on jobs. If workers using it become more efficient, profits at their company could rise which would then allow bosses to ramp up hiring.A recent survey by Experis, an IT-recruitment firm, points to this possibility. More than half of Britain’s employers expect AI technologies to have a positive impact on the number of their staff over the next two years, it finds. To see how it all shakes out, we will publish updates to this analysis every few months. But for now, a job apocalypse seems a long way off.32.Economists’ predictions about automation show that ______.A.machines prove to deal a blow to employmentB.technological breakthroughs bring an economic boomC.economic theories don’t work well in practiceD.it is difficult to clarify the impact of machines on jobs33.According to the text, since the spring of 2020, white-collar jobs ______.A.have become more diverse B.have decreased in numberC.have been threatened by service jobs D.have not suffered noticeable losses34.How may artificial intelligence influence employment A.It may cause mass unemployment. B.It may create new jobs for people.C.It may enable employers to hire more. D.It may decrease people’s salaries.35.What could be the best title for the passage A.Boy Cries Wolf: Generative Al is not yet killing jobsB.Batten Down the Hatches: Generative AI will replace most of human jobsC.The Trojan Horse: Generative AI is seemingly beneficial tool to white-collars.D.Pandora's Box: Generative AI will bring unforeseen consequences to the workplace. Dead to RightsThe movie Dead to Rights (南京照相馆) has become a huge hit since its release on July 25, 2025. 36 By August 3rd, it had earned over 1.4 billion yuan at the box office, and more than 40 million people had watched it. What would it be like at his new school He worried about this for the whole journey. He was also anxious that the other pupils might make fun of his teeth as he had two extra teeth in his upper jaw. Would anybody want to be his friend Faris didn’t realise that many of the other boys felt just as lonely as he did. He eventually gathered the courage to start chatting with the other pupils, covering his teeth with his hand. He soon made some new friends. His teachers believed that the best way to help students who were homesick was to cheer them up with sports and activities. Then there was music! The students had to take part in choir practice, and that was when the music teacher noticed that Faris had an extraordinary voice. He hit every note perfectly! When Faris was twelve, his friends told him about a new kind of music from Britain and America.“It’s called rock’n’roll!” whispered David. “The headmaster says it’s a bad influence and we shouldn’t listen to it...” Bruce showed Faris a black-and-white picture cut out of a magazine. It was of a handsome man with an impossibly cool haircut standing on his toes as he sang with his eyes closed. “That guy’s called Elvis! The government wants to ban him because he makes his fans go crazy. He’s the greatest music star in the world! This sounded exciting to Faris — the shy boy liked the idea of people going crazy for him, too.He and four of his friends slipped into the teachers’ office one night. A rush of excitement and nerves ran through Faris as he imagined himself performing in front of a crowd. They spent late evenings tapping on old desks, using broomsticks as guitars, and singing until they burst into laughter.Every day after class, they met behind the sports hall, wrote songs, practiced harmonies, and worked on their timing.Faris’s voice would tremble when others watched, and sometimes he worried he wasn’t good enough. No sooner had he nailed a high note than his friends burst into cheers, boosting his confidence. One day the boys were told that they could attend School Art Show and they trained even harder for the upcoming show.Para2: Stepping onto the stage, Faris took the microphone and began to sing. Though his hands were shaking, the moment the music began, he felt his nerves melt away. The lights shimmered across the stage, and a quiet hush fell over the crowd. He swayed to the rhythm, eyes closed, hitting every note with soul and strength. As the final note rang out, the roar of the crowd was not just for the song, but for the courage they had witnessed. Grinning at Bruce and David, whose friendship had already been his anchor, Faris knew this was more than just a performance—it was the birth of a shared dream. In the echo of the applause, the shy boy was gone, replaced by a shining music star who had finally found his true self.读后续写参考范文2 (Deepseek 作品):Paragraph 1: “We should form a band,” Bruce whispered. His eyes sparkled with excitement in the moonlight. The idea instantly lit up Faris’s heart. They spent the following days secretly planning—David could borrow a guitar from his cousin, Bruce would practice drumming on desks, and Faris, of course, would be the lead singer. During lunch breaks, they hid in an old storage room, experimenting with melodies and rhythms. At first, Faris still unconsciously covered his mouth while singing, but as the music swept him away, he gradually forgot his insecurities. Their clumsy notes slowly mixed together into passionate tunes, filling the small space with a wild, exciting energy. One day they were told that they could attend School Art Show and they trained even harder for the upcoming show.Paragraph 2:Stepping onto the stage, Faris took the microphone and began to sing. The spotlight poured down like sunlight after rain, and for a moment, he felt his heart racing. But as the familiar rock rhythm burst forth, he closed his eyes, pouring all his loneliness and longing into the lyrics. His voice, clear and powerful, soared through the auditorium like a wild horse breaking free. When he finally opened his eyes, he saw the not just applause, but the proud faces of the friends who had believed in him and accompanied him all along. In that moment, Faris smiled brightly, no longer hiding his teeth, for he truly understood that music had given him the power and courage to embrace his true self and his new life.阅读理解答案和解析21.C 22.D 23.B【难度】0.85【来源】浙江省宁波市慈溪市2023-2024学年高二下学期6月期末英语试题【知识点】广告/布告、应用文、诗歌文学【导语】这是一篇应用文。文章主要介绍了四首诗歌的内容。21.推理判断题。根据Poem B部分中“And the day you find it is the day I will stop loving you!(你找到爱的那一天就是我不再爱你的那一天!)”以及“Others may forget you but never will I.(别人可能会忘记你,但我永远不会)”可知,诗B中的“大海中的一滴泪”意思是我会爱你一辈子。故选C。22.细节理解题。根据Poem D部分中“Don’t give up on your dream. The fragmented (碎片化的) style of the graphic novel doesn’t fully translate to film, leaving the story feeling uneven.(最终,《放射性物质》最大的缺陷可能是它的素材来源。图像小说的碎片化风格并不能完全转化为电影,使得故事感觉参差不齐。)”可知,这篇文章强调了《放射性物质》这部电影从书到电影的改编存在缺陷。故选C。27.推理判断题。通读全文,尤其是根据文章第二段中“Based on Lauren Redniss’s graphic novel (图像小说), Radioactive covers the well-known achievements of Marie Curie: her Nobel Prize for discovering radium and polonium, and her groundbreaking research on radioactivity.(电影《放射性物质》根据劳伦·雷德尼斯的图像小说改编,讲述了玛丽·居里众所周知的成就:她因发现镭和钋而获得诺贝尔奖,以及她在放射性方面的开创性研究。)” 根据第二段中“Take Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in 2023. It wasn’t just a big show — it poured over $5 billion into the U.S. economy.(以2023年泰勒·斯威夫特的巡演为例,它不仅是一场大型演出,还为美国经济注入了超过50亿美元)”及“China has seen similar effects, with stars like Jay Chou filling arenas and boosting local economies during their tours.(中国也出现了类似效应,如周杰伦等明星的巡演填满了场馆,带动了当地经济)”可知,作者通过具体案例说明音乐会推动全球经济增长。故选C。29.推理判断题。根据第三段中“Some critics argue that this surge in economic activity is just a temporary spike that disappears once the last note fades, overlooking the fact that music’s impact goes far beyond immediate spending; it shapes identity, community, and memories that keep fans returning time after time, while social media can increase this effect greatly, as a single viral concert clip can inspire thousands more to join future events.(一些批评者认为,这种经济活动的激增只是演唱会结束时音符消散后的短暂高峰,却忽视了音乐的影响远不止于即时消费——它塑造身份认同、社群归属感和让粉丝一次次回归的记忆,而社交媒体能极大增强这种效应,比如一段爆红的演唱会片段就能吸引数千人参与未来活动)”可知,音乐会经济的影响明显超越短期消费,延伸至文化层面。故选D。30.细节理解题。根据第四段中“Governments are quick to recognize this potential. Shanghai now combines major concerts with tourism packages, Seoul has built immersive K-pop experience centers, and smaller cities are investing in upgraded venues to attract big-name acts, understanding that live music can be a vital part of urban development strategies that combine cultural appeal with economic growth.(政府迅速认识到这一潜力。上海现在将大型音乐会与旅游套餐相结合,首尔建立了沉浸式K-pop体验中心,而较小的城市也在投资升级场馆以吸引知名艺人,他们明白现场音乐可以成为城市发展战略中至关重要的一部分,这一战略将文化吸引力与经济增长相结合)”可知,音乐会经济契合城市发展策略。故选B。31.推理判断题。根据最后一段中“So, is the concert economy simply a passing trend, or does it signal the future of how cities grow and thrive As more places try to catch this rhythm, maybe it’s time to ask — how much of our economic future will be written on the music stage (那么,音乐会经济仅仅是一个短暂的趋势,还是预示着城市将如何发展和繁荣的未来?随着越来越多的地方试图跟上这一节奏,也许是时候问问——我们的经济未来有多少将由音乐舞台来书写?)”可知,作者通过提问暗示对音乐会经济未来的乐观态度。故选C。【答案】32.D 33.D 34.C 35.A【导语】本文是一篇说明文。这篇文章主要介绍了人工智能对就业的影响。32.推理判断题。根据第二段“Economists, however, tend to enjoy making predictions about automation more than they enjoy testing them. In the early 2010s many of them loudly predicted that robots would kill jobs by the millions, only to fall silent when employment rates across the rich world rose to all-time highs.(然而,经济学家更喜欢预测自动化,而不是测试自动化。在2010年代初,他们中的许多人大声预测机器人将夺走数百万人的工作,但当发达国家的就业率升至历史最高水平时,他们却沉默了)”可知,经济学家喜欢预测自动化但不喜欢测试,之前预测机器人会消灭数百万工作机会,但实际上就业率却上升了,这表明机器对工作岗位的影响很难明确。故选D项。33.细节理解题。根据第五段“White-collar roles are thought to be especially sensitive to generative AI, which is becoming ever better at logical reasoning and creativity. However, there is as yet little evidence of an AI hit to employment. In the spring of 2020 white-collar jobs rose, as many people in service occupations lost their job at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. And in the past year the white-collar share of employment in professions thought to be at risk from generative AI has risen by 0.5%.(白领角色被认为对生成式人工智能特别敏感,因为生成式人工智能在逻辑推理和创造力方面正变得越来越好。 根据倒数第三段“AI could even have a positive effect on jobs. If workers using it become more efficient, profits at their company could rise which would then allow bosses to ram p up hiring.(人工智能甚至可能对就业产生积极影响。如果使用它的员工变得更有效率,公司的利润就会上升,这将使老板们能够加快招聘)”以及倒数第二段“A recent survey by Experis, an IT-recruitment firm, points to this possibility. More than half of Britain’s employers expect AI technologies to have a positive impact on the number of their staff over the next two years, it finds.(Experis是一家 IT 招聘公司,其最近的一项重新认证调查显示,有这种可能性。调查显示,超过半数的英国雇主预计人工智能技术在未来两年内会对员工数量产生积极影响)”可知,如果工人使用AI后效率提高,公司利润可能上升,这将使老板能够增加招聘,因此人工智能可能会促使雇主雇佣更多的人。故选C项。35.主旨大意题。根据第一段“After astonishing breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, many people worry that they will be replaced by AI. Global Google searches for “is my job safe ” have doubled in recent months, as people fear that they will be replaced with large language models (LLMs). In a recent paper Tyna Eloundou of OpenAI and colleagues say that “around 80% of the US workforce could have at least 10% of their work tasks affected by the introduction of LLMs”.(在人工智能取得惊人突破之后,许多人担心他们将被人工智能取代。谷歌搜索“我的工作安全吗 ”的数量在最近几个月翻了一番,因为人们担心它们将被大型语言模型(LLMs)所取代。在最近的一篇论文中,OpenAI的Tyna Eloundou和他的同事说,“大约80%的美国劳动力至少有10%的工作任务可能会受到引入人工智能的影响。”)”以及最后一段“To see how it all shakes out, we will publish updates to this analysis every few months. But for now, a job apocalypse seems a long way off.(为了了解结果如何,我们将每隔几个月更新一次分析。但就目前而言,就业末日似乎还很遥远)”以及纵观全文可知,本文主要讨论了生成式人工智能对工作岗位的影响,但目前还没有明确的证据表明它会大规模取代人类工作,因此最好的标题应该是A项“Boy Cries Wolf: Generative Al is not yet killing jobs(狼来了:生成式人工智能尚未扼杀工作岗位)”是本文最好的标题。故选A项。 36.根据上文“The movie Dead to Rights (南京照相馆) has become a huge hit since its release on July 25, 2025.( 自2025年7月25日上映以来,电影《南京照相馆》成为了一场巨大的轰动。)”提到电影自上映后大受欢迎,以及下文“By August 3rd, it had earned over 1.4 billion yuan at the box office, and more than 40 million people had watched it. And we’re visiting Fairhaven because of its historical links with a man called Manjiro Nakahama. So I’ll begin by giving you a brief introduction to his life, and then you can take your time to explore the town. Manjiro Nakahama was born in 1827 in a village by the sea in Tosashimizu, Japan. And like many people in that town, he became a fisherman when he was young. One day in 1841, he and some others were fishing far off the coast of Japan when they were caught in a storm. He was rescued by an American whale ship. And Manjiro became friends with the captain William Whitfield, who came from the town of Fairhaven. That is where we are now. He chose to remain aboard, and to come with the boat to the U.S.A. So Manjiro became the first Japanese to set foot on American soil. He studied mathematics and geography as well as shipbuilding in Fairhaven. But he missed his mother, and his own country. Eventually in 1851 he went back to Japan where he had a responsible position as a university teacher. He also served an invaluable role as an interpreter to build up and improve the relationship between Japan and the United States. Tosashimizu and Fairhaven now have the official status of sister cities. In Fairhaven there have been a number of visits by the people of Tosashimizu, in particular at the time of the festival, which is held every two years to celebrate the life and achievements of Manjiro. It takes place in the fall, and there an ever-growing program including drumming, singing, and small open shops selling Japanese and American food. So, if you're going to be in the area around then, it’s really worth a visit. 展开更多...... 收起↑ 资源列表 海南中学2026届高三年级11月第二次月考英语(1).docx 海南中学2026届高三年级11月第二次月考英语听力.mp3
