通过某种方式：①through sth. ②by doing sth.
Eg. Through hard work, she achieved her goal.=By working hard , she achieved her goal.

create (v.)创造, 创建→creative (adj.)有创造力的→creativity (n.)创造性，创造力
(三)show love to others：向他人表达爱意 show (v.)表明, 展示(n.)演出, 展览会
show sb. sth. = show sth. to sb.

③ love made visible被具象化的爱 ： 此处的“made visible” 是过去分词短语，是过去分词表被动关系，作后置定语的用法，相当于定语从句 “love that is made visible”
④that is what my grandmother always told me “what+主谓 ”名词性从句： 结构是名词性从句（主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句）

Eg.She feels warm every time she reads her mom’s letters.（每当读妈妈的信，她都会感到温暖。）Every time the seasons change, I catch a cold easily.（每当换季，我都很容易感冒。）

⑥sweet （adj.）甜的 (n. )糖果 →sweetness (n.)n.甜蜜, 美妙

分析：划下线部分是非谓语动词：现在分词作后置定语

相当于定语从句 who were living。
Eg. The students doing their homework in the classroom must be very careful.（在教室里做作业的学生们必须非常认真。）= The students who are doing their homework in the classroom must be very careful.
②on an island 在岛上 far from ..离... 远
