辅音连缀
在英语词汇中，如果有两个或两个以上的辅音音素结合在一起，这种语法现象称为辅音连缀。辅音连缀发生在词首，词中和词尾。如：

读辅音连缀时，两个辅音不能有停顿，几乎同时发音，前面的辅音必须读得轻一些，短促些。

Sentence Stress（句子重音 ）里，通常需要重读的是实义词，像名词（如 redwood、California ）、实义动词（除 be 动词等功能词外，如 visited ）、形容词、副词（如 several ）、数词、疑问词，以及因对比、强调需求要突出的词；
不需要重读的多是起连接、辅助作用的语法功能词，像冠词（the/a/an ）、介词（in/on 等 ）、连词（and/but 等 ）、代词（I/you 等 ）、be 动词与助动词（am/is/are 等 ）；
