Who is he
What did he do
徐霞客 (1587—1641),明代地理学家、旅行家。他自幼好学,博览群书,淡泊功名。自 22 岁始历时 30 余年,足迹遍及大半中国。探幽寻秘,对山川地貌、水文气候、地质生物及民情风俗等进行考察,以游记体裁将观察所得逐日记录。其日记由后人整理成为《徐霞客游记》。
