动作描写的其他句式
1. At the thought/sight/sound of sth/sb, sb did sth. (一想到/看到//听到,……)
e.g.警报一响,狼就跑进了茂密的树林里。
At the sound of the alarm, the wolf fled into the thick woods.
2. Sb could hardly wait to do sth. (迫不及待做某事)
Sb did sth without hesitation/a second thought.
e.g.我迫不及待想把这个好消息告诉Tom.
I could hardly wait to tell Tom the good news.
3. Sb was at a loss. (to do sth/ for sth) (不知所措...)
e.g. 面对风险,她不知所措, 无所抉择。
Facing risk, she was at a loss for choice.

e.g.我拼命跑去追赶,但徒劳无功。

常见的adj短语作状语的词:unsure of/about不确定, uncertain about不确定,(un)aware of/that从句 (没有)意识到,determined to do 决定去做, lost in 迷失, absorbed in 全神贯注,unable to do 不能够...
e.g.她震惊地站在那里,不知道下一步该怎么做。
She stood there in shock, unsure of what to do next.
场景:遇到火灾
She smelled a sharp, acrid burning odor and immediately stopped what she was doing → She looked around and discovered that the kitchen was engulfed in flames → She quickly grabbed her phone and rushed towards the door → While dialing 911, she ran out onto the street → After reaching a safe spot, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
动作链:察觉异常(闻到焦味/听到巨响)→ 迅速确认灾难源头 → 寻找最近的逃生路径 → 迅速逃离 → 找到安全位置
例子:她闻到一股刺鼻的焦味,立刻停下手中的活→ 四处查看,发现厨房已被火焰吞噬 → 她赶紧抓起手机,冲向大门 → 一边拨打火警电话,一边奔向街道 → 到达安全地带后,她终于松了一口气。
