量词!是什么样的词呢?

概念:表示人、事物或动作的数量单位的词叫做量词。
特点:可以帮助可数名词n.或不可数名词n.表示数量。
搭配具有特定性,不同量词常与特定类型名词搭配,如 “ a pair of ” 搭配由两部分组成的事物,像 “ a pair of scissors ”;“ a piece of ” 搭配不可分割事物,如 “ a piece of advice ”。

量词的常见用法
1.piece的用法。
piece可以表示“片”、“块”、“件”、“项”、“条”、“篇”、“首”、“幅”、“张”等。a piece of bread / paper / wood / furniture / land / advice / news / meat / music
2.pair 的用法。在英语中,成双成对的物品一般需要用a pair of。
一副眼镜 a pair of glasses 一把剪刀 a pair of scissors
一条裤子 a pair of trousers / pants
一双筷子 a pair of chopsticks

量词可以用来帮助可数名词和不可数名词表示数量,如 a bowl of rice 一碗米饭,bowl 就是一个量词。常用“ 数词+量词+of ”结构来修饰名词,用法如下:
1. “数词 + 量词 + of + 可数名词复数 ” 可用来表达确切数量。例如:
a basket of apples
two sets of colored pencils

2. “ 数词+ 量词 +of + 不可数名词 ” 可用来表达不可数名词的确切数量。例如:
a bottle of water
seven pieces of bread
一瓶水
七片面包
注意
当 “ 数词+ 量词 +of + 名词 ” 在句中做主语时,谓语动词单复数形式要与量词保持一致。量词用单数,谓语动词也要用单数形式;量词用复数,谓语动词也要用复数形式。如:
a cup of coffee is enough.
一杯咖啡是足够的。
a cup of coffee tastes good .
一杯咖啡尝起来美味。
Two cups of coffee are enough.

此处修饰形容词,表示程度;也可用来修饰不可数名词

2. few: 修饰可数名词复数,有否定含义,表示几乎没有。
little: 修饰不可数名词,有否定含义,表示几乎没有。

a few: 修饰可数名词复数,表示有一点儿。
a little: 修饰不可数名词,表示有一点儿 、有一些。
eg. a few days. 几天 a little milk 一些牛奶

How many 用来询问人或事物的数量,后接可数名词复数。
e.g.
—How many apples are there 有多少个苹果?

How much 的用法
How much 意为“多少......?”常用来询问物品的价格或事物的数量。用来询问事物的数量时,后接不可数名词。常见用法主要有:
1.用来询问事物的数量,后接不可数名词。
e.g. How much milk is there in the glass 玻璃杯里有多少牛奶?
e.g. How much bread is there on the table 桌子上有多少面包?
2.用来询问事物的重量。
e.g. —How much meat do you need 你需要多少肉?
—Two kilos. 两千克。
e.g. —How much does the sheep weigh 这只羊多重
—Fifty kilos. 五十千克。

How much 的用法
3.用来询问“多少......(钱)”时,可单独使用,也可构成词组。
How much money,但在英语中常省略money,用来询问某物的价钱、价格。例如:
e.g. —How much is this skirt 这条裙子多少钱?
—80 yuan。 80元
e.g. How much (money) did you pay for the English grammar book
买这本英语语法书,你付了多少钱?
4.用来询问数字计算的结果,相当于what。
e.g. —How much is three plus one 三加一等于多少?
—It’s four. 等于四。

注意:
(1) how much后接be动词时,be是单数还是复数,取决于be之后的名词,即主语是可数名词单数或不可数名词时,用is; 若主语是可数名词复数时,则用are。
e.g. How much are the parrots 这些胡萝卜多少钱
e.g. How much is this coat 这件大衣多少钱

注意:
(2)how much询问价格时,它的回答若是中国的货币单位应采用汉语拼音yuan,fen来表示,几角常采用几十分来表示,字母用小写,且不用复数。
e.g. —How much is the eraser 这块橡皮擦多少钱
—Ninety two fen.九角二分。
(3)在买卖过程中,买方觉得太贵不买,常用That’s much too dear.作答。
如果觉得比较合适,则用That’s (very, quite) cheap.
