The student is probably making a weekly plan.
I usually make a plan at the start of a new week, a new month , a new term, a new year or before beginning an important task.
In this unit, you will
1. talk about your dream jobs.

3. read and write New Year’s resolutions.
4. explore ways to improve yourself.
Because they can guide us to achieve goals step by step and make our actions more organized.

弱读（Weak Form）
在英语语流中，说话者一般会遵循省力原则，弱读不太重要的功能词，给听者的印象是某些词一带而过，甚至含混不清。实际上，这种听觉上的模糊读音有规律可循。了解弱读的一些基本规律，一方面有助于我们准确理解语流中的弱读音，另一方面在自己表达时也能尽量做到强弱得当。
弱读涉及的词汇类型: 冠词,介词,连词,助动词, 人称代词；
提高语速和流畅度：在日常交流中，人们需要快速表达观点，弱读能减少发音的复杂性，使话语更流畅；
突出关键信息：通过弱化虚词的发音，将说话者的重音自然地放在名词、动词、形容词等实词上，让听话者更容易捕捉到核心内容。
位置和语境：在句首或单独出现时，虚词更可能采用强读形式。
常见功能词的弱读形式
根据表中例词可以看出，这些功能词的元音一般会弱化为/ /。
