The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a great book. It is more than an adventure story. Mark Twain wrote it in 1876. It describes people’s lives in the southern states of America at that time. It tells how young people grow, how people love each other and how bad people pay for their actions. It is written in everyday English, and the dialogues sound especially real. Today, it is still read and loved by people all over the world, and it is thought to be one of the greatest American stories.

My favourite book
Good books are valuable treasures. One of my favourite books is Treasure Island written by Robert Louis Stevenson. The story is set in a small town in England.
The book tells the story of a young boy Jim, who sails the sea to look for hidden treasures. He faces a lot of trouble on the journey, but he doesn’t give up. He tries his best to look for the treasures. Finally, he succeeds.
Jim’s story gives me a lot of confidence. I want to travel and have some exciting experiences in the future.
Treasure Island is a moral tale that teaches the virtues of loyalty. It is thought to be one of the most popular sea novels in the 19th century.
Just read it for yourself! I’m sure you’ll like it.
