1.运动习惯
很多外国人都有早起晨跑、锻炼的习惯。经过有氧运动、无氧运动后，人体会产生大量的汗液，因此，需要洗澡来清洁身体，避免影响个人形象。
2.身体差异
外国人的汗腺比较发达，且会分泌一种特殊的代谢产物。这些代谢产物经细菌分解后，会散发出浓烈氨臭味、硫臭味。晚上睡觉时，人体本身就容易出汗，再经过一夜的“发酵”，很多外国人早起时体味极为浓重。因此需要及时洗澡，消除异味。
3.作息时间
从整体上看，外国人的作息时间还是要相对偏后一点。换句话说，外国人的夜生活会更丰富一些。很多外国人都喜欢下班后去酒吧小酌一杯，甚至有很多人会狂欢至深夜。这些人回到家已经很晚，而且身体已经很疲惫，也就没有洗澡的欲望了。

英语钟点时间的表达
1. 所有时刻都可用数字描述，即“小时+分钟”
2.所表述的时间恰好为半小时,用“half past+小时”; 所表述的时间恰好为整点,用“时间+o'clock”.
3. 在分钟数中，15分钟还可以用a quarter表示。
4. 所表述的时间在半小时内(＜30min),用“分钟+past+小时”
5. 所表述的时间超过半小时(＞30min),用“(相差的)分钟+to+(下一)小时”
