单元知识结构分析 本单元从不同的角度,介绍了不同国家的杰出运动员和运动团队,讲述了他们是如何凭借永不放弃的信念,坚持不懈的努力、钢铁般的意志和团结一致的团队力量赢得比赛,超越自我,走向成功。通过本单元的学习,学生能够对自我提出更高的要求,并通过自己的努力实现目标。本单元一共分为4个模块,第一模块为starting out and understanding,模块指在导入与体育运动和运动员相关的话题,激活学生已有的语言背景知识,为整个单元的学习活动做铺垫和预热。本模块呈现了一篇反映单元主题的课文,语篇类型为新闻报道,介绍了体育明星Stephen Curry的成功之路。第二个模块为using language,本模块的主要内容是V-ing形式做主语。通过听说的训练,呈现从事各种运动的表达,特别是不同动词的细微差别,帮助学生深度聚焦语言的意义和功能,在真实的语境下进行思考和交际应用,全方位提高语言综合运用能力。第三模块为developing ideas,本板块呈现了从另一角度反映单元主题的课文。课文介绍了中国女排如何凭借坚韧不拔的毅力和奋斗精神,以及团队合作精神战胜困难,赢得各类国际赛事,成为名副其实的世界冠军。通过这一板块的学习,学生能够更深入的理解团队精神的重要性,学会介绍中国女排的成功事迹,增强民族自信心和自豪感。同时初步掌握场景描写的特征和方法,能够用场景描写介绍一个体育赛事。第四模块为presenting ideas。本板块通过思考与表达观点,引导学生对体育精神这一话题有更深入的理解,能够形成自己的体育观,促进学生在真实的情景下综合运用语言,相互合作,展示个性。进一步加深对单元主题意义的理解,发展思维品质,完成对所学内容的迁移和创新。
学情分析 高二年级学生,经过高一学期的学习,已经具备了一定的语言知识技能和学习策略,在阅读过程中能够理解整体内容,获取文章细节和事实信息,并能在老师的引导下进行深层思考,形成自己的观点,但对库里这个人物以及人物的生平事迹可能不太熟悉,新闻报道的结构不太了解。
单元目标 通过本单元的学习,达到以下4个核心素养的培养: 语言能力:能够围绕本单元的主题语境内容,基于单元提供的人物介绍、新闻报道、语音信息等多模态语篇,综合运用各种语言技能,读懂与体育精神相关的语篇内容,听懂并谈论与体育相关的话题。恰当使用所学词汇与表达,介绍运动员及其精神品质,描述体育赛事场景。了解中外优秀运动员的经历和事迹,感知他们的精神品质,升华对单元主题意义的理解。 文化意识:能够运用本单元所学内容,通过比较、分析、准确获取语篇中与体育精神相关的信息并在此基础上联系自身实际,思考这些体育精神对自己的启发。 思维品质:能够组织一场趣味运动会,实现知识与思维能力的拓展和迁移。树立不畏艰难,团结协作,不断超越的体育精神。 学习能力:通过运用各种学习策略,在自主、合作与探究式学习的过程中,结合单元所提供的反思性和评价性问题,不断监控、评价、反思和调整自己的学习内容和进程,提高自己的理解和表达能力。
单元重难点 1、引导学生通过课文标题猜测课文内容和作者的写作意图;引导学生掌握新闻报道的写作特点和语言特征,并运用与话题相关的语言知识介绍一位运动员。通过总结优秀运动员和运动团体的成功经验,引导学生在今后的学习生活和工作中要坚持自己的梦想,并为之不断努力成为更好的自己。 2、引导学生掌握并能够正确使用动词搭配来表达与运动有关的话题,并尽量补充拓展更多不同的运动类型。引导学生了解运动精神,听懂与运动精神相观的话题内容,能够恰当的应用相关表达,阐述自己的意见并进行解释。引导学生认识到运动精神的重要性,培养积极向上的人生观。
单元教学规划(如何实现单元目和突重单元重难点) 本单元可以分为8个课时。第一课时starting out通过短视频,图片导入与运动相关的背景信息,让学生对本单元话题的基本信息进行积累。第二课时 understanding部分为语篇学习,通过对库里这篇新闻报道的学习,掌握新闻报道这样一个语篇的特征,让学生了解到成功是与自信、努力和毅力的优秀个人品质紧密相连的,第三、四课时为language points,通过对文章的语言知识点学习,提升学生的语言表达能力。第五、六课时为using language,主要是通过听说训练,让学生学会用动词V-ing形式来表达与运动相关的短语。第七个课时是developing ideas,通过对中国女排取得世界冠军这篇新闻报道的学习,深入了解体育精神的重要性,增强民族自信心和自豪感。第八课时为presenting ideas,通过进行对比论证,对本单元的话题有更深入的了解,形成自己的体育观,完成对所学内容的迁移和创新。
