Step 2：以读促写Pre - writing (10mins) Task 1: 快速阅读 快速阅读找出大意与挖掘：Read the text about Earth and Mars and answer the questions. Step 5：Summary and Evaluation(5mins) 1.总结 (Summary): 教师引导学生总结：“Today we learned how to use charts to compare and contrast key information to write ,and most importantly, how to observe actively and explore the mysteries of the universe...” 2.自评与互评（Evaluation） : 运用写作量化表自评让学生有理论依据可衡量本节课的表现，为核心目标的达成作出判断。 自评与互评，互相学习，共同提高，达到核心目标。
作业设计 Homework 必做： 1. Review what you learned today. 2.Collect information about celestial body fragments and form the materials for an exhibition 选做： 1.Introduce the differences between earth and Mars to your family orally. 2.Choose the earth and other planets to draw a comparison chart and write a short essay with at least 100 words.
