一、背景
新课标》要求:英语重在培养学生的综合语言运用能力。我们的学生

在毕业关键时期,阅读在考试中都占很大比重,而它恰恰是我们学生比较
薄弱的一个环节。缺乏自信是初三学生在阅读中普遍存在的问题,在阅读
过程中担心词汇量大、信息大、生词多、科普的文章难以读懂,再加上分
值大,担心丢分,种种因素影响阅读文章,因此应帮学生树立信心,而老
师应长期指导和跟踪密不可分的。而在我们的教材的每一单元的 reading 部
分,都提出了相应的阅读策略,因而老师安排更好的利用课堂时间引导学
生分享阅读的结果和快乐,所以在教学中找到适量的教学方法,培养学生
的阅读策略,利用课本资源或找一些学生感兴趣的话题,运用吸引学生注
意力的教学方法,能使学生充满信心从容应对中考。
二、教材分析
本单元针对音乐这一中心话题,围绕着“发表对音乐,歌手或音乐家的
看法展开”,让学生在语境中通过表达喜好来学习定语从句。在巩固定语从
句教学练习中依然创设了真实的语境,体现了课标:学生在英语语境中接
触,了解、体验真实的语言,并在此基础上应用语言的要求。本节课初步
探讨了中国音乐,通过阿炳的故事训练学生运用阅读策略进行阅读问题处
理的能力,来应对中考题型中的七选五,任务型阅读,培养学生勇于面对困
难,激发他们的音乐情感,在教学中的地位是很重要的。
三、教学方法
1.教法分析
1)本课的教学内容围绕“阿炳的故事”这一话题展开,重在培养孩子
们的阅读能力和写作能力。为巩固定语从句教学练习中依然创设了真实的
语境,教师由每天的话题 free talk 引入到单元话题(你喜欢什么种类的音乐
What kind of music do you kind ),采 用 chain exercises 练习了话题内容谈论
喜好显示了“不同的人喜欢不同种类的音乐 Different people like different

kinds of music.提到 而我喜欢中国古典音乐 ,你们想和我一起欣赏中国民
间音乐吗?而引导学生去欣赏音乐,师生一起欣赏中国民曲,以音乐热身
导入本课中心话题,Sad but Beautiful.然后呈现本节课 3 个任务,1)布置自
行设计的七选五任务——自主学习提炼大意,对段填充(而后教师指导)2)
利用科本资源布置任务填课本中的三表格—自主学习,3)布置自行设计任
务教学的合作探究和延伸训练口头作文到笔头作文 3 个主要步骤。让学生
由浅入深,由易到难,由跳读、略读构成的速读到细节性的细读,由快到
慢完成本课任务型阅读任务,对阅读策略进行了详细的巩固,进而引入到
标题如何理解上,从文中你又学到了什么?感悟和升华了主题使学生得到
了情感教育。最后运用已学课本知识设计了写作教学,引导学生在运用中
学习巩固本堂课的语言知识,然后创造性地使用已有知识口述并写出精彩
的作文,达到.”用中学,学中用”效果。
2)运用九单元阅提供的阅读策略和教师本人自创的七选五的对段填充
法充分利用本课课文呈现给学生选句子填空还原文句子(选择段落大意,
到三字小结标题,最后对段填空),而后应用教材资源提出多种形式的任务:
从利用单元阅读策略,找出支撑主题句的细节,完成课本任务,熟悉教材
内容;到拓展延伸表达自己喜欢的音乐或电影写作训练(先小组合作口头
训练——展示交流——笔头训练)等任务型教学活动,为学生独立思索和
小组交流的预留出了充足时间和空间,而学生为完成,参与了了自主学习、
交流合作和探究性学习,提高了自主学习能力。
3)本节课在为学生创设纯英语的语境(只在必要出用汉语解释了单元阅
读策略和这一方法在应对阅读题中的妙用),让学生在英语语境中体验和理
解语言,并在此基础上学习和运用语言,已达到运中学,学中运。
4)结合实际教学需要,创造性使用教材。应该对中,我把课文改变成七
选五 删去了一些不重要的内容,但升华了主题,要求学生回答怎样理解Sad
but Beautiful和What can we learn from the story 从而使学生从语言的角度对
文章有了更深的理解,自身受到更好的情感教育
2.学法指导
1)首先,注重学生就本单元相关的自由发挥的口语表达,从而提高学

生的听力能力;其次加强学生的学习策略的指导,培养孩子们的自主学习
能力;最后是拓展延伸的书面表达,为中考做好另一面的准备。本节课也
启用本课标中的任务——自主——合作——探究延伸的学习方式,激励学
生在教师指导下,在纯英语的环境中通过体验,参与探究和合作等方式应
对任务。教学流程是 3 个任务的解决的任务型教学“1)布置自行设计的任
务——自主学习提炼大意,对段填充(而后教师指导),2)利用科本资源
布置任务——自主学习,3)布置自行设计任务教学的合作探究和延伸训练

个主要步骤。本节课学生围绕着这 3 任务进行速读,找出文中段落大意,
而后利用对端填空的学习策略的指导完成七选五;而后要求学生利用本课
supporting details 学习策略独立自主有效利用了教材资源完成了课本中的表
格,并在小组合作探究交流中升华了情感体验,培养了他们的阅读能力。
2)这届学生是我循环教学的杰作,他们在英语的听、说、读、写语言
技能上和语言知识上基础都比较扎实。我基本上在初三的教学中分化了两
篇长课文的处理方式,一篇通常处理成选词填空,另一篇七选五或六个问
题的问答题型的任务型阅读,从而把对他们学习的重点放在了阅读理解能
力的提高上。在教学的过程中,教师起到了指导的作用,体现了学生的主
体地位,师生共同接受不同的信息,培养了不同的阅读策略,为写作积累
好素材,从而降低写作的难度,提高学生写作兴趣和水平。学生在教师引
导下从跳读略读的速读到精读,由浅入深,逐层递进,充分利用阅读策略
理解了文章大意和必要的信息。期间学生做,教师巡视去帮助孩子们解决
存在的问题。因问题不太难,教师提问中等生和学习有困难的学生,充分
调动这部分学生的积极性,帮其形成有效的阅读策略。学生必须学会自主
学习,有了语言的大量输入,为语言的输出做好充分准备,学生内化为自
己的语言才能成为必然。

Sad but beautiful 的内涵精神向学生深层地折射了:面对生活中的挫折要积
极应对,同时激发他们的音乐情感。
4.文化意识:让学生了解不同的人有不同的音乐种类爱好,同时能感染
人的情绪,激发人的情感。
五、教学重难点
教学重点:利用阅读策略应对不同的阅读任务。掌握速读(略读、跳读)、
对段填充法、精读及阅读中各个环节的技巧掌握去面对中考中各类的阅读
理解。
教学难点:阅读理解升华题和书面写作
六、学情分析
阅读能力是语言学习中一个薄弱环节,也是中考中的失分重灾区,所以
加强阅读能力的指导,培养良好的阅读习惯是很有必要的,而培养学生的
阅读策略更是必要的。本节课的教学是即将面对中考的学生,这是一届我
循环教学的杰作,学生大都喜欢学习英语,一直以来课堂气氛活跃,从初
一开始一直在熏陶他们的语言的感觉,培养到初三基本能够在纯英语语言
环境中进行学习,毕业班的学生生来说,他们语言技能上和语言知识上基
础都比较扎实。我基本上在初三的教学中分化了两篇长课文的处理方式,
一篇通常处理成选词填空,另一篇七选五或六个问题的问答题型的任务型
阅读,培养了不同的阅读策略,为写作积累好素材,从而降低写作的难度,
提高学生写作兴趣和水平。

Greet one another, then call a student to stand in front of the class to

do you like” to review what we have learned so that they can consolidate

you feel about “Sad but Beautiful”then have a discussion in groups.

T:Your anwers are very great, let’s make a conclusion. I t refers two
ways: one is the music ,the other is Abing’s hard life.
Then have a discussion again: What can we learn from the story of
Abing
Ss ………(give different answers)
T: Your answers are different but the main idea is the same
(1)Abing had great musical ability and although he lived a hard
life ,he never gave up.
(2) He encourages us to face difficulties bravely.
T:At last, anylize the last sentence in Chinese and point out it is the

Different people like different kinds of music. As for me,I like Chinese
traditional folk music best, especially ErquanYingyue----Moon Reflected on
Second Spring.
It was written by Abing who was a folk musician.The music played by erhu
touched me very much.It is strange beautiful, but under the beauty, I feel
strong sadness and pain.And it's one of the most moving music I've ever
heard..Its sad beauty not only describes Ah Bing's own life, but also makes
people recall their the deepest painful experiences. Most importantly, every
time I meet with difficulties, its sadness and beauty always encourage me to
work hard.
Abing's life was sad but was also beautiful because he made a contribution
to our folk music. .So, no matter how many difficulties we have to face in our
life ,try our best to solve them !

Last night one of my Chinese friends took me to a concert of Chinese folk
music. The piece which was played on the erhu especially moved me. The
music was strangely beautiful, but under the beauty I sensed a strong sadness
and pain. his piece had a simple name, ErquanYingyue ( Moon Reflected
on Second Spring),but it was one of the most moving pieces of music
that I've ever heard. The erhu sounded so sad that I almost cried along with it
as I listened.

The music was written by Abing, a folk musician who was born in the
city of Wuxi in 1893.His mother died when he was very young. Abing's father
taught him to play many musical instruments, such as the drums, dizi and erhu,
and by age 17, Abing was known for his musical ability. He was very poor.

For several years, he had no home.Even after Abing got married and had
a home again, he continued to sing and play on the streets. He performed in
this way for many years.

By the end of his life, he could play over 600 pieces of music.
Many of these were written by Abing himself. It is a pity that only six pieces
of music in total were recorded for the future world to hear, but his popularity
continues to this day.

treasures.its sad beauty not only paints a picture of own life but also makes
